Alastair's POV
When Vic came on stage announced as a Princess, my heart broke. How could she have never told us? Me? She waves shyly and begins her speech.
~Time Skip to Lunch~
The lunch table is in a fit over Vic not telling them about her royal status. Katelyn is the most mad. When Vic gets to the table nobody looks at her. She's confused and looks kind of scared. After a few agonizing, silent minutes, Tori asks us if everything was ok, worry lacing her voice. I'm mesmerized in her huge, scared, blue doe eyes. I snap out of it quickly, remembering that she lied to us. Katelyn snaps back at her, something along the lines of, "No, everything's not ok! You lied about your parents death to get us in your side and pity you before you unleashed your big secret!" Vic's already big eyes grew bigger and hurt was the only emotion on her face. "You're just a stupid popular girl!" Katelyn snaps. Oh no. Vic hates being called popular. She takes it as an insult. I get it though. Last time wasn't too good. Tears brimming Vic's wide eyes is the last thing I see as she get up and throws all her stuff away, walking out of the building. Katelyn automatically gets up and walks to the popular table. I don't know who she is anymore. She used to hate populars as much as Vic, Marge and I did, but now she's walking over there. We all follow her and hear her say, "I have something I want the whole school to know and you, I think, will love this." She proceeds to tell them all the rumor and Jack and Alex get up and leave the same way Vic did. I'm about to go comfort her when I see the other two boys confronting her. I hide in a corner where I can see and hear everything. I don hear the beginning of Alex's comment but I hear, "-Your friends are telling everybody what you did." I hear Vic plead, "They're lying! You do believe me, don't you?" I hear desperation and hurt in her voice. I regret just sitting back and letting Katelyn yell at her for something she didn't seem to know she did. Marge didn't seem to have a problem with it, which is probably why I didn't do anything. "We want to, we really do, but, they told us you would say and do this, and look where we're at." Everything's silent for a minute and suddenly, Vic was slamming her fists against the walls yelling, "No! Not again! Please not again!" Well, I say yelling, but more like pleading. I hear Jack say something about how it all would've been better if she had told them and they walk past me into the school. Vic lets out a scream of frustration and I hear her start to cry. I'm about to go comfort her when I hear the end of lunch bell ring. If I want to stay cool with everybody, I have to leave. So I do.
~Time Skip to A.E.~
I'm talking with Jessie at Advanced English when I hear a giggle from the back of the class. And not just any giggle. A giggle I've only heard one person use. Vic. I glance that way, being the only to notice and see a boy with black hair and green eyes sitting next to her talking. I immediately get jealous. I ignore them though until I hear the boy yell, "What kind of friends do that?!" We all turn and look at them. Vic's eyes are huge but I can see a little amusement in them. The boy realizes we're staring, or more accurately glaring, at Vic. He looks at her and smiles, yelling, "Don't worry, I'll be your friend!" He leans into her and Vic laughs a genuine laugh. Apparently, the rumor didn't spread far enough. I can see in the boys eyes that he wants to be more than friends with Vic, but I can tell he recognizes that all she needs is a friend right now. They talk some more and finally the bell rings. Stifled laughs and giggles come from there the rest of the class and when class is over, Vic walks out with the boy behind her. The boy gives us death stares. His face says, 'back off' and 'don't mess with her' and then he turns around to go to his locker. I'm at my locker when I hear Vic's beautiful voice yell across the hall. I turn around because that's what she used to do with me, but I see the boy run to her. He slides into her and they laugh. I walk past them, just as I hear Vic say, "-wanna come over to my place?" My breath catches and my heart stops. She just invited him over?!? I mean, I couldn't blame her, all her friends abandoned her and that boy was the only one being nice to her. I head out to the tree with the gang. Ever since we began spread the rumor, we had hung out and played goody goody with the populars. I was... ok, with all of them except Winston. He was still on my bad side after what he did to Vic. We were all hanging out and talking. It was fun, but I still missed Vic. She brought light and happiness to my life and now that was all gone. Everything's going great until we see a black Porsche park in the lot. We stare to see who it is and Vic and the boy get out, laughing. Marge gets up, other girls trailing behind her, and approaches them. "I see you've replaced me already!" she says. She points at the boy. Vic looks at her with disbelief before smirking. "Oh please! He's better than all of you. Combined." Vic spits. Ouch, that hurt. She's known him for less than a day and she already likes him more than me, who she's known for most of her life. Marge, dumbfounded mutters something and Vic retorts, "Oh, he's better than you all there too!" The boy, Zeke, laughs and Marge's faces contorts with fury. "Be careful Zeke, she will lie and betray you!" Marge says in a singsong voice. Zeke immediately steps in front of Vic and narrows his eyes growling, "Oh, and I guess I can tell the same thing to the student body about you!" Marge scoffs and walks back towards us. I see Zeke and Vic fist bump and run inside together. Why did this have to happen? Why couldn't I just have been open about my feeling so she didn't go crawling away into someone else's arms? I scowl. Why?
Jack's POV (at the end of Free Period)
I see a black Porsche roll into the lot. We all stare, trying to see who has such an expensive and amazing ride. Out walks Tori, and that boy who was with her at A.E. They laugh as they get out. I see Margaret walk towards them, most of the girls trailing behind her. I'm in the tree, so I don't hear what Margaret's high pitched voice says, but I see her point to the boy behind Tori. I hear Tori retort to whatever Margaret said with, "Oh, Zeke is better than all of you. Combined." What?!? How could she say that! She just met him today! I've liked her since I've met her and the first boy to talk to her, she likes! Wait, that's not fair to blame on her. She's just saying that because we all abandoned her and spread a rumor about her. Even if the rumor was true. I guess Margaret mumbled something cause Tori's expression changed from 'well duh' to 'amused.' "Oh he's better than you all there too!" Zeke, the boy behind her, laughs and Marge and the girls behind her are furious. "Just so you know Zeke, she'll betray and lie to you like she did to us!" Rage flashes across Zeke's face as he steps in front of Tori and cockily says, "Oh? Well, I guess I could tell the same thing about you all to the entire student body." The girls march off and I see Tori and Zeke fist bump. My heart breaks. Why do I still love her? She lied to me and broke my heart. Maybe she didn't mean it. I think. Maybe that's true. We'll just have to see.
Alex's POV (At the Same Time as Jack's)
I see a black Porsche zoom into the student parking lot. We're all staring at it. All of us except Tori, that is. God I miss her. Why did she have to lie to us, we could keep a secret. She should've trusted us! She tore my heart out when she walked on stage. She looked beautiful too. Laughing snaps me out of my daydream. And it's coming from the Porsche. I see Tori and that boy she was with at A.E. They seem to be getting along well. I see Margaret and some of the other girls march up to them. It's hard to tell from up in the tree, but I think I see Tori roll her eyes. It looks like Margaret says something as she points at the boy but I don't hear it. I hear Tori though, when she says, "Oh, please, Zeke is better than all of you. Combined." I lose my grip on the tree and almost fall out, but I hold on. I see Margaret mumble something else and Tori retorts, "Oh he's better than you all there too!" At this point, the boy, Zeke, laughs and the girls look like they're about to explode. Margaret turns to Zeke and I hear her say, "Just watch out Zeke. She'll lie and betray you like she did to us." Without skipping a beat Zeke replies, "Oh? Well, I guess I can tell the same thing to the entire student body about you all, huh?" Margaret just scoffs and stomps back towards us, but I don't care. I keep my eyes on Tori as she fist bumps Zeke and they walk inside together. I'm losing her all over again. But I shouldn't care, should I? She lied to us. To me. Right?Author- Sorry for the long-ish chapter. I just though it'd be fun to see what the boys thought about this, and we hadn't really heard much from Alastair. Please comment who you ship Tori with!
