Tori's POV
I'm still peeved Winston moved here. How'd he even find me? I don't want to go to school today because I know my friends will ask questions that I don't want to answer. Also, Winston will be there. I get up anyways because I know I have to help Margaret and Alistair on their first day of American school. I take a shower and a put on a black skater skirt and a red v-neck. I put my favorite necklace. It's a silver heart with a diamond in the corner. I pull on my black combat boots to finish off the outfit. I brush my hair and leave it to flow to my mid-back. Then I put some mascara and lemon flavored lipgloss on and headed downstairs. I'm surprised when I see my butler, and guardian, Rupert, making one of his specialty smoothies. "Hello Rupert!" I say pleasantly, grabbing the smoothie that was already made. "Hello, and good morning, Madam Summers!" Rupert greets, putting his finishing top on the second smoothie. I look at him quizzically when he hands me it. "This is for Madam Margaret! I heard she started study at your school today!" Rupert answers my unasked question. I nod and grin. Grabbing my book bag, I say goodbye to Rupert and run out the door.
~Time Skip to School~
The minute I walk into the school building, I hear a girly, British accent exclaim, "Look Al! I think that's her!" I turn around and embrace an overjoyed Margaret. Marge has beautiful brunette hair. It's wavy and flows to her mid-back, like mine. She has vibrant green eyes. "Victoria! It's you! I'm so happy to see you again!" She lets me go and I hand her her smoothie. Taking a sip, she says, "Mmmm. Rupert is a saint! This is just what I needed!" I laugh and turn to the blond boy standing next to her. "Alastair!" I greet, grabbing him into a hug. "Hey Vic!" He says, hugging me back. His eyes are a vibrant blue and his smile glistens. I hear a shuffle from behind and I thought I saw Jack and Alex round a corner, but it might've been my imagination. I turn back to Al and Marge right as the warning bell rings. We all compared schedules. They had lunch, free period and Advanced English with me. We say our farewells and sent to class.
Jack's POV
Alex and I were talking about the football game last night when there was a shout from across the hall. We look over to see a girl and a guy run the Tori. Tori embraces the girl and the laugh and talk. Tori hands the girl a smoothie and they laugh. I was about to go over and introduce myself when Tori turns towards the boy and hugs him. He smiles and hugs back! Beside me I think I hear Alex growl. Then he turns and runs around the nearest corner, with me close behind him.
Alex's POV
Jack and I were arguing about whether the team that won last night deserved the win when a girly voice across the hall yells Tori's name. Jack and I turn to see Tori embracing the girl. They laugh and talk and Tori hands the girl a smoothie. Then Tori turns to the boy standing next to the girl and, wait, did she just, she hugged him! Unintentionally, I growl. I couldn't take it anymore. I turn and run down the nearest corner with Jack close behind me.
Tori's POV
~Time Skip to Lunch~
I lead Marge and Al to the cafeteria and into the lunch line. After getting our food, I lead them into the maze of tables. I'm about to lead them to my table when Marge squeals. "There! That's our table, right?!" She asks me, pointing at the populars table. Of course she's think that. "No Marge. They're all jerks. Well, all the girls are. They're like American versions of Madeline," I state, turning her towards my table. I lead them over and introduce them. Marge puts on her happy face but I can tell that she's disappointed and maybe a little angry. I shake it off and we talk all lunch. I can tell Al is a little out of place too. They act nice though and seem to get along with everyone.
~Time Skip to Advanced English~
After lunch we all go to Advanced English. Marge and Al were ready before anybody else, so we went before them. We were laughing and talking about old times. That all stopped when we walked into the classroom to see Winston. "Hello, Margaret. Alastair. Victoria," Winston says, walking towards us. "Leave us alone, you traitor and jerk!" Marge yells. I smile and look at Winston, who is obviously surprised about the burst of anger that just exploded from my usually happy friend. He shakes it off quickly though, slowly walking towards her. "How can you be calling me a traitor when you started the fight?" he asks. He moves forwards, bringing his hand down on her like he used to do to me. I rush forward and hug myself around her, ready for the pain that I felt for weeks before this. But, it didn't come. I look behind me and Alastair is standing in front of me, holding Winston's arm in the air. I let go of the shaking Marge, still in front of her, and face Winston. "I know I wasn't strong enough to stop you then, but I am now, so don't try that on anyone again," I growl. As I turn I see my friends standing in the doorway. Great, they heard that. I smile and wave and hug Marge, wiping the tears away. "Oh Vic! I'm so sorry! I didn't know how bad it was until today! And that was before he hit me!" She whispers in my ear. I smile heart-heartedly and whisper back, "It's ok Marge. After a while, the pain numbs." She hugs me one more time before we take our seats. As we sit, Jessie looks at me, sending me a mental question, but I send one back telling her we'd talk later. She nods and we get to work.
