The medics came as soon as Darcy had called them. They put Nicole on a stretcher and then in the ambulance where Jayden was also put into because of his injured shoulder. William, Darcy, Trent, Zach and Julian came too with them.

"Nicole... Please wake up..." Jayden cried as he held her hand. "Please... Wake up for me... Please."

After a few minutes, they reached the hospital already and as soon as they hopped off the ambulance, the press were all around them.

"Jayden, can you please explain what happened out there at your performance?" One reporter said to Jayden, who's been put on a wheelchair.

"Jeez, mate! Can't you see? He's injured!" William said, pissed as he blocked the reporter from following Jayden.

"Trent, could you please explain to us what happened back there at your concert?" Another journalist asked. "Do you know who did that?"

"I won't give any comments for now." Trent said as he avoided the journalist and the others too.

"It would be good if you all just stay here and wait." The doctor said to all of them and then vanished into the emergency room with Nicole and Jayden.

"What do we with them?" Zach asked.

"I'll deal with them." Darcy said as she faced all the press.

"Ms. Higgins, on behalf of The Collective's party, can you please explain what happened back there?" A reporter asked.

"As much as I would want to give a comment, I can't because I don't know the full reason why Nicole and Jayden got shot so I suggest that you guys save your questions later for both Nicole and Jayden. Thank you." Darcy replied then she turned around and the bodyguards blocked the reporters from following her and the other boys.

Meanwhile, back in Perth, Phoebe went to Christina's house to help her in cleaning and rearranging their house. When they were finished, Christina suddenly felt uneasy.

"Oh my god... I feel so hot." Phoebe said as she opened the window so that the air could come into the living room. Just then a gust of wind blew in and caused Nicole's picture frame to fall down from the top shelf to the floor.

"Whoa!" Phoebe said.

"What was that?" Christina asked.

"The wind blew Nicole's picture frame off the shelf. But don't worry, I'll clean it up!"

Then she walked off to get the broom and dustpan from the kitchen. Christina turned on the television and a breaking news came on.

"A shooting incident happened during the Australia's supergroup called The Collective's concert in Sydney, New South Wales. 2 were injured during the incident and they were identified as Jayden Sierra and the newest member of their group, Nicole Thompson." The newscaster declared. And as soon as she heard the shocking news, tears started to stream down on her cheeks. Phoebe heard the news as well and she cried too, eventually.

Christina turned to her and then they hugged each other.

"Is she awake?" Jayden asked Trent who was standing nearby Nicole's bed. Julian, Zach and William were all sitting on the couch, also waiting for Nicole to wake up.

"No. Not yet." Trent said as he shook his head. Jayden pulled a chair and sat beside her bed. He held her hand and kissed it softly as his tears started to fall out from his brown eyes.

"Nicole... I don't know if you can hear me but... Please, I'm begging you. Wake up. Wake up..." Jayden cried softly. "Stay alive, for me..."

"You're the only one that I treasure... You're the only girl that I can ever imagine spending the rest of my life with. You're the only one who keeps me going... And without you, I don't know what to do next... You're my world Nicole." He continued to sob. "You're my world."

"Jayden..." Darcy said when she came in. "The press really wants your feedback so bad. I've tried to keep them off our backs but..."

"Give them what they want." Jayden said as he wiped his tears.

"Are you sure Jayden? Your shoulder's injured and because of what happened, we all knew that you're still in shock because of what happened." William said.

"I agree with William, Jayden." Trent said.

"Same." Zach said.

"Same but it's still Jayden's choice. If he wants to face the media, then let him." Julian said. He threw him a grateful look.

"Okay. They're outside now." Darcy said.

Jayden sighed and then he walked to the door and opened it and as soon as he opened the door, the bright flashes of the cameras welcomed him.
