Nicole opened her eyes, only to find Jayden by her side, sleeping peacefully while his left arm wrapped around her shoulders, making her feel safe. She smiled to herself as she remembered what happened last night. Jayden stayed with her last night because she got scared of the thunder.

She put her head on his chest and sniffed his sweet scent and closed her eyes again, trying to go back to sleep but suddenly, she wondered who he likes and that kept her awake from then on. It wasn't long until Jayden moved and she looked up, found him staring down at her with a smile on his face.

"Good morning." He greeted.

"Good morning." She greeted back.

"Had a good sleep?"

"Yeah. Thanks Jayden for staying with me last night."

"No problem."

Then they both sat up on the bed and streched their arms. "Are you free today Nicole?" He asked then her eyes widened for she remembered that she's supposed to go out with Trent today.

"Oh... No. I'm not." She answered sadly. "I'm going out with Trent today. Sorry."

He smiled weakly, "Okay. Maybe next time, if there's still one." he said as he looked down and stood up. "I'll see ya downstairs." Then he left her room.

"Jayden, wait!" She said but too late because he had already left. Meanwhile, Jayden sighed heavily outside her door. He knew that Trent had got it this time again.

"Is Nicole awake?" Trent asked and he just rolled his eyes at him. "Why don't you go and look for yourself?" He said snobbily then walked off but Trent stopped him.

"What's wrong? You seem pretty upset with me lately." He asked.

"Wow. You don't know why?" He said sarcastically. "You know what? You are so fuckin' annoying."

"Now hold up. And when did I ever became annoying?"

"Ever since Nicole came! You always get her attention! You always have her all to yourself! You always make her smile and laugh and I feel so worthless and stupid!"

"Wait... Are you jealous?"

"W-What?! Hell no!"

"Jayden..."

"Just... Look, if you do anything to make her cry, you'd better prepare yourself."

Then he brushed past him and walked downstairs. Trent looked at him confused then he just shrugged his shoulder. He turned to Nicole's door and knocked. The door opened and her eyes widened for she saw him standing outside her door, looking perfect while her, looking scruffier than ever.

"Good morning." Trent greeted her with a loving smile. "Looks like you overslept."

"Good morning." She greeted back with a silly smile. "Um... Can I be with you after two minutes?" He nodded then she closed the door right on his face and went to the bathroom to take a quick bath then wore her white long-sleeved shirt, black denim shorts and a pair of navy blue Converse shoes. (A/N: Nicole likes Converse.)

She combed her hair and then put her red beanie on. She slung the strap of her stylish purse on her left shoulder then after that, she went out only to find Trent staring straight at her.

"Please stop staring at me like that Trent." She said. "I feel conscious." He chuckled, "I'm sorry. Okay, I'll stop it. It's just... It's just you're so beautiful." he said and Nicole felt her heart jumped a little bit, hearing the compliment.

"Ready?" He asked. She nodded even though she hadn't had any breakfast yet. "Don't worry; We'll stop over to a Subway shop. I didn't eat either because of excitement." He added as he scratched the back of his head. They both laughed then went downstairs.
