The concert was re-scheduled because of what happened and this time, they've tripled up the security guards. After their final touch-ups for their performance, they already went back into their tent and prepared themselves.

"Nicole, you have visitors." Darcy said and then Nicole stood up from her seat when she saw Christina and Phoebe entered the tent.

"Mom!? Phoebe!!!" Nicole squealed in joy as she hugged them both. "I missed you guys so much!!!" Then she pulled away.

"Nicole, can we talk?" Christina said.

"I would love to but we're kinda busy right now. We'll be up on the stage in 5 minutes." Nicole said. "What if we just talk after the show?"

"Alright." Christina said.

"Come on, Mrs. Thompson! We should be at the front row so that we can see them clearly when they perform!!!" Phoebe said as she dragged her away. "See ya later, Nix!!!" Then they went out of their tent.

"Is that your mom?" Jayden asked her.

"Yeah. In case you can't tell." Nicole replied cheekily as she winked at him.

"Didn't you know that you turn me on when you wink at me like that?" He said as he pulled her by the waist and kissed her hungrily.

"Oh c'mon! We have no time for your porn show." William scoffed and they all laughed.

"You're up guys! Quick! Quick!" Darcy said and they all rushed out of the tent and as soon as the music started the five boys came up on the stage and Julian started the intro. The audience went wilder when they all came on the stage singing their single 'Surrender'.

Their show went well and then they had a meet and greet with their fans that lasted for an hour. After that, they all celebrated backstage for a successful performance.

"Well done!!!" Darcy said as she popped the cork of the bottle of champaign and poured it on each of their glasses. "Bottom's up."

Then they all raised their glasses and then drank their champaign. Nicole put her glass down on the table and went to her mother.

"Mom, join us!" She said as she pulled her with her.

"No. No. It's okay. Nicole, I really want to talk to you alone." Christina said.

"Where's Phoebe?"

"I asked her to go back to the hotel that we're staying in at the moment."

"Okay, so what is it that you wanna talk about?"

"Nicole... I think that you should quit singing with these guys." Then Nicole's face became hard and bitter. "I mean, they are really a boy band! Not a mixed group!"

"But mom, didn't you see the audiences a while ago? They went crazy! They love me."

"Yeah but do you really think that they accept you for being in this group?"

She fell silent. Shocked by her own mother. The first person who nagged her to pursue her dream before was now the one that convinces her to quit her dream.

"And besides... Look at what happened to you last time on your concert?!" Christina added.

"Mom, if I quit from the band, what about Jayden and I?! What about us?!" Nicole said.

"I don't know but you have to quit, whether you like it or not. You're coming back with me to Perth next week, on Friday."

Then she left, leaving her there, dazed.

"Everything okay?" Trent asked her. She turned to him and tried to put on a smile, "Yeah. Don't worry. Everything's okay." She said.

That night, Nicole made herself a cup of tea to calm her nerves. She still couldn't believe that her mom just asked her to quit her singing and now she's left in the middle of nowhere, stuck.

"Good news Nicole! That person who sent you death threats weeks ago? She was already caught. Her name's Haley Griffins, 18 years of age." Julian said as he put the newspaper in front of her when he noticed that she was out of it.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked as he sat beside her.

"Julian, I'm quitting from the band." Nicole said and they both sat there, frozen from the shocking news.
