He placed his gentle hand under my chin lifting my face to his so I could feel his breath wash over my face as he spoke, smelling faintly of mint, "You embrace your madness, deary, embrace the world from whence I came. Follow me... Through the storm."
I heard it before I saw it, the rain pounding against the panes of the window, hard and unrelenting as it always is during the usual hurricanes which rip through our little berg. I gulp, what have I gotten myself into?
