[ Once again, I'm SO sorry for not posting, but if you're still here reading my story, then thankyou so much, it means so much to me. ]

~ RECAP ~

{basically just because its been ages since a update and some of you may have forgotten what happened}

So basically they had a meeting to see if other people (meaning werewolves, other vampires, warlocks etc) knew why Kat could be able to see the vampires, and Kat finds out that Nate is a (alpha) werewolf. Heaps of people leave suggestions why she may be able to see, and Kat gets overwhelmed and leaves the room, then Hunter comes in to make sure she's okay, and she tells him she loves him. Later that night, Kat has a dream about a man named Marcus Wait, and he tells her that she comes from a family of warlocks - her parents committed a crime - meaning that she too has the ability to use magic. He shows her some things, yet of course when she wakes up, her first thought was that it was a dream, but not much later, she realises that it actually may have been real. And that's where it left off so, yeah!

CHAPTER 13

"Woah, wait." Hunter starts, and I groan, knowing I'll have to repeat my dream again. "What was the guy's name and what did he specifically tell you?"

Sighing, I close my eyes, replaying in my head what Marcus said to me, still shocked that somehow this man had communicated with me in my head, confused by the sense of familiarity that somehow, I know this man.

"His name was Marcus Wait and he said 'Both your parents were warlocks - witches or wizards who broke a law.'" I repeat again, feeling as though I have said it a million times today, still shocked every time I hear it, trying to decide whether or not to believe what the warlock in my dream told me. The strangest feeling ran through my mind, a feeling that screamed no matter how bizarre and impossible this sounds, what he said was real and true , that it was more than just a dream, something more than a made up creation of my unconscious mind.

It was a scary thought that followed this feeling. Could I, Kat Broadly - a girl who was normal just a few months ago, a girl who didn't read fantasy stories, simply because she thought they were unrealistic and didn't believe in any mythical creatures - actually be a witch, capable of magic? Did my parents really have magic powers too? What was the crime they committed?

"Kat," Hunter begins, draping his arms around my waist, kissing my forehead before he continues to speak. "If what this guy in your dream said was true - that you're a witch - then we need to speak to him, and we need to get him to train you."

"Train me?" I say, looking into his eyes with a puzzled look on my face

"Yes. We need him to teach you how to use and control your powers."

Shocked, I close my eyes for a moment, focusing on simply exhaling and inhaling - that is, until I feel a pair of lips on top of mine. I giggle, opening my eyes to see Hunter with an amused look on his face, and kiss him once more, this time longer, with more feeling.

"I love you," he murmurs, his lips still close to mine, softly brushing against each other. I wrap my arms around his neck and bury my face in his collarbones, breathing in as he rocks me side to side. We stay there for what feels like years, safe in each others arms, and I can't help but let the small smile that slowly attempts to creep up to my face out, pulling myself even closer to him. The smile grows at his lips meet my forehead, whispering and repeating his earlier phrase. I lift my head up and kiss him right on the lips, our kisses growing longer each time our lips return together, and I grin again.

"I love you too," I whisper back at him.

"Well aren't you too just so cute?" a voice I easily recognise calls from the doorway. As I turn to face it, the one and only Marcus Wait stood in front of me, looking just as he did in my dream - the same clothes, the same hair, and the same purple cat eyes gleaming back at me. I see the corners of his mouth rise slightly, and I almost have to fight the urge to run towards him once more, to wrap my arms around the man who - even though I can only remember ever meeting him in my dream - seems so irregularly familiar to my mind, as though I had spent many years with him. Years I have clearly forgotten.

"Marcus," I breathe out, looking back and forth between him and Hunter. "Hunter, this is Marcus."

"But..." Hunter starts, confusion clear on his facial expression. "I hadn't called him yet, I was going to in a min-"

"Ahh, yes." Marcus says, cutting Hunter off, looking directly at me. "I heard you may have wanted to see me. We must discuss your dream, Kat. All I said was truth."

It was strange. From the time leading up to this moment since my dream, I was scared that he was telling the truth, I didn't want to believe him, I was wishing I was normal once again, back before I knew about any of this world hidden to the plain eye - but actually hearing him say it was true, I knew it was, and I wasn't scared at all. I was prepared for anything that was ahead of me - I want to train and to control my powers, whatever they are.

{A/N I know it's short, and I'm really sorry, I'm still going through a writer's block, but I promise I now know which direction the story is going to go in, so hopefully I'll be able to work out how I want to write it, so yeah :-) hope you enjoy, please vote and comment?}
