Hunters POV

"Sir, I've got the girl I told you about" A husky voice tells me. I turn around to see that the voice belongs to Brody, as her enters my office, carrying a giant lump.

"Set her down on the couch" I order him "Lock the door behind you. I need to make sure she can't escape"

"Yes, master" Brody answers, bowing to me.

"How much longer will she be out?" I ask, curious about the young girl.

"I'm not too sure, sir. I didn't put too much in so she shouldn't be out for much too long" He tells me.

After doing what I tell him, he bows once again and exits the room.

God, I love being in charge.

"Okay, girly, let's take a look at you." I say to the unconscious human on my couch. She smelt so good, I should just drink her blood right now and be done with it.

You know you can't do that, I think to myself, and I knew I really shouldnt. So instead of biting her, I turn her around so I can actually take a proper look at her. Fuck she was beautiful. She was wearing a strapless light blue dress which showed off her small but perfect curves and her very large boobs. Her hair was dark brown with long, wavy locks down to her waist. She seemed fairly tall and was about 17 years old. The same age I looked.

I listen to her steady breathing for a couple of minutes before a loud groan comes out from her mouth as she moves her head a bit. Not wanting the girl to know that I'd been watching her, I quickly, but swiftly, run back to my chair and act as though I was doing work. I look up when she lifts herself up onto one arm and looks around the room, clearly confused.

"Oh good, you're up." I say.

"What? Where am I?" She says. Within the next twenty seconds, her eyes widen and shes standing up about to run to the door.

"No use," I tell her. "Doors are locked. You're not getting out." That's when she collapses to the floor and begins to cry her eyes out. Being the leader I am, I crouch down next to her, resting my hand on her shoulder.

"Get off me!" She screams through the tears, pushing my hand off hers. "Don't hurt me, please."

"I promise, I won't." I say in sympathy, and I actually think i might mean it. I can't hurt her right now, can I?

"What do you want with me?" She whimpers. I put my arms around her as she cries into my neck. Fuck she smells good.

"I'm sorry what happened with Brody, he told me that you knew too much, so without thinking, I got him to bring you to me."

Without a single thought, the girl looked up at me and slapped me in the face.

"You little bitch," she says, her tone completely different from what it was only a matter of minutes ago. "You think it was just fine to get someone to kidnap me? What do you mean by 'I know too much'? What do I know? Because I'd gladly forget it and to just leave right now."

Kat's POV

Hurt. Confusion. Anger. The first things I saw go through the guy sitting next to me with his arms around me's eyes. Anger stayed the longest. He stood up and walked over to his desk, and picked up the phone.

"Brody? With Alexander, go find some rope and a chair and get yourselves up here as soon as possible." And with that, he slammed the phone back to it's place and looked back at me. Fuck.

"You're not playing nice?" He says. "Fine. I won't either."

Before I get a single chance to protest, I find myself in a chair, with rope keeping me stuck to it. Fantastic.

"Thankyou boys, you may be dismissed now." The guy says to the two who I suspect to be Brody and Alexander.

"Hey," I say, "You're the guy from the party. I knew I saw you!" The younger one from the party winks at me and walks out of the room with the older guy.

"Why we're they listening to your orders? You look like you're 17! I mean, the younger one was probably your age and the other was much older than you." Okay, now I was really confused. All he did was laugh.

"I'm much older than you think, girly."

"Oh for God's sake! Will you stop calling me girly?" I say, just causing him to laugh some more.

"I don't know your name, therefore I have nothing else to call you."

"My names Kat. Call me it from now on, alright?"

"Alright, Kat" He answers, clearly mocking me. "You can call me Hunter. And as for the reason those guys follow my orders, it's because I'm much older than I look."

"What's your secret? Botox?" I ask innocently, batting my eyelashes and putting on a sweet smile.

"Nah, it's this aging cream, works like a charm." He answers casually.

"Cut the crap. Why am I here?"

He smirks. "You are here because you can see me."

"What? Why wouldn't I be able to see you?" I ask, completely confused by his reply.

"Because you're human, that's why."

"You say that like you're not."

"Who said I was?"

"Okay, seriously. What are you going on about?"

"I'm not human. The reason you're here is because you could see Brody at the party last night. Brody isn't human. Humans aren't supposed to see us unless we want them to. Brody didn't want you too see him." He says calmly. I personally was getting annoyed.

"If you're not human, then what are you?"

He takes a step forward, so his face is only a few centimetres away from me. He opens his mouth and flashes two sharp teeth that shouldn't be there.

"A vampire."
