Chapter 3 ~ Plan A demolished

Ria POV 

"Okay, so get meowing and get us out of here." Melody encouraged me.

I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply, focusing on positive energy. My body felt numb and I could not tell if I was physically emerging or not. I opened my eyes and saw the room from a different perspective. It was humongous. 

The dark haired girl gasped, "Whoa. Dude, you're so cute, if I wasn't in this cage right now, I would be squishing you." 

I put on my best kitty glare, hissed and began navigating my way out of the room. 

"Oh come on Ria! You know I was just kidding, you can't just leave me here !"

Sometimes the amount of patience I have amuses me. I transformed back into a human and rushed around the room looking for the keys. 

"Where the hell is it? I can't see it anywhere."

"There are a pair of keys hung by the door. Yeah there."

I unlocked the cage and freed the little annoying vampire pixie. I hope I wouldn't be regretting this.

"Okay, you go left and I go right. When you find any potential exits, communicate telepathically with me and I'll do the same," she  explained, seeming almost a bit too excited. 

"It's a plan. Although, I'm warning you, if I call for you and you don't reply and make your way towards me pronto, I'm leaving without you. If you're as delicate as you look, you'll never make it out of this prison alive."

 I made my way down the right hallway as planned. It was a very large hall but so very dull. It was a pity really, if I was the interior decorator I would have so much fun with this place. I was suddenly interrupted from my internal rambling when I felt a pair of arms around my tiny feline waist. Wow, I couldn't even make it five steps out of the door with the prison cube. You've got to be kidding me.

"Gotcha. Well, aren't you a cutie pie ?"

I looked up to see an angel. His messy blonde hair was pretty long and fell over his gorgeous green eyes, giving him a mysterious aura. He was young but his eyes showed a certain wisdom which was pretty rare nowadays. Mystery boy slowly began rubbing my forehead and scratching behind one of my ears in one go.

Without realizing it, I began purring and leaned into his magical tanned fingers some more. He chuckled softly and held me against his broad chest as he started making his way down the hall towards one of the rooms. I was in to much of a daze to really care about what was happening. I could hear his heartbeat beneath my ear. My acute senses made it seem almost as if it were a song whose beat was just for me and I was slowly drifting away. The last thing I heard was a soft click and then I was out.

Melody's POV

Well, I was absolutely utterly and completely lost. I ran in random directions, trying to keep calm. Every bloody corridor looking exactly the same as the one I had just been in. I wasn't sure if it was the same corridor or a completely different one, just similar. It was driving me completely insane. Would I be going round in circles forever? Or worse, would a hunter find me because I was that much of an idiot and torture me until I died. Okay. So, maybe, I was a bit of a drama queen but so help me, I couldn't help the horrid thoughts throwing themselves at my brain as I tried to control my breathing. I felt as if I was suffocating. Oh god, I was going to die from a panic attack ! What the fuck is wrong with --

In a blur, muscular hands grabbed my upper arm and I felt myself being flung. I prepared myself for a rough landing but found that my landing was soft. I tried to gather my senses and realized that I had landed on a king sized bed. The room I was in, was painted a dark ruby red but what shocked me the most was to find the beautiful violet eyed boy glaring at me from across the room. Oh boy.

Sorry for the cliff hanger. The story's going to get pretty interesting from here on out so stay tuned :D
