Step 7 : Fear

We leave the room as soon as the shrieking stopped . Raul and me switched on my torchlight . Lily said that we should use her cell first and kept one Torchlight in case of emergency . We agreed and Raul switched off his .

"Where are we going ? " I whisper . They leaned against the wall when they heard a screech .

"Natasha , I saw her in her room . " Lily took a peek with one of her eyes . " I can't see a thing ! " She whispers in deep frustration .

Raul also took a peek covering Lily's body . He slowly shine his torchlight down the hallway . "All cle-- "
*Kriaaaghhhh*
We quickly crouch as soon as we heard the screech .

"We can't get to the stairs , for now . " Raul switched off his torchlight . Lily shine the nearest door knob and twist it . " Get in ! " She shout with a soft voice . We enter the room .

" He is guarding the stairs . Why ?? " Raul asked . Lily wipe her sweat . " He is protecting something . " Lily exhaled with frustration .

"Can somebody explained to me what in the hell we are facing right now ? " I sit down on the bed that was messy . This girl must have left in a hurry . Folding my legs , I demands answer .

" That thing-- " Lily put down her cellphone . " Is something unimaginable " Raul continues .

"What do you mean ? I've met him or her before bumping into you Raul " I asked out of curiosity . The shrieking continues . My spine caught the voice and I started blowing hot air between my palm . Scary voice really gave me nightmares .

"It's a Him--" Raul said while searching the Cabinet for something useful . " and he is Deadly . How'd you escaped ? " Lily hugged me .

"He just left in a panic ways when he heard a painful cry from a woman .. ' I realize they were listening very carefully when their attention is glued to me .

"A woman ? " Lily asked . She sit next to me . "Tell me more " She grab my thigh . Hoping for more information about this thing .

"I dont know much , he was about to kill me when his face is an inch away from mine , and suddenly he went berserk and ran toward the voice . " The room went quiet . The darkness surrounds us and the echoes of the shrieking continues .

A big sigh came from Raul . " Well , the room is dark and he still can see you -- " Raul starts to patrolling the room . " And when we encounters it , He can still find us even though we were quiet " He finally sits on the opposite bed . "This thing is unbelievably smart for your information " He start scratching his head .

" Why don't we back off for now , and wait till morning ? " I suggested . Lily looked at me . Her eyes were filled with anger and sadness . " Do you know what I saw in Natasha's room ? " She started to cry but quickly wipe the tears away .

"Heyy , why ? " I approach her .

*BAAM ! *
The door was knocked hard !

" Owhh son of a bi--- " Raul started to push the cabinets to barricades the door . BAM ! Another knock on the door , he's breaking in !

"HIDE !! " Raul shouted while sprinting for a hiding spot . Lily wiped her tears and start searching too . Oh shit ! Where ?? Where do I hide ?? I starts to look for an opening that I can squeeze inside but non of it is big enough . Shit ! Another slam on the door and the door wont hold any longer . " Jack !! Over there !! " Lily pointed to the cabinet that Raul pushes to barricade the door . I sprint to it and squeeze myself inside and close the door behind me .
BAAM ! My hiding spot shakes .
BAAAM ! One more hit and the door will break !

BAAAM ! The cabinets fell along with the door .

He's In .

Luckily I'm not trapped , it fell sideways and one of the door for the cabinets were opened . I hold my breath .

He sniffed around . He groans .

He walked passed me but Lily's hiding spot might be revealed . Let's hope he didn't know how to crouch and look under the bed eh ?

My heart start beating fast again . Sweat forming on my face . The heat is burning my skin . When his leg was infront of the bed . I saw him stopped and turned back to me . Oh shit !!

He groans like he detects something . I saw Lily's face . The face of fear . I think I can hear her heartbeats pumping . Or is it mine ? As he was in front of the cabinets . He stopped again and turn back to Lily . What is he doing ? Now he just stand in the middle of the room . Searching for something . But what ?

He growls . And leave the room . Me and Lily was shocked and happy at the same time . What happened ? Lily uses hand language to tell me something . She is pumping her heart ? What ? I asked her with the confused face . She did it again but now she adds an imaginary binoculars . Owhhhh ! That thing detect us by hearing our heartbeats !

BAAMM !! My hiding spots were shaken by an impact . He is back and he is on top of my hiding spots . Lily asked me to relax so that he cant detect my heartbeat .

I hold my breath and starts to exhaled slowly . My heartbeat started to slow down .
*SPLAT* He dropped something .
Lily gasped and closed her mouth with her hands . Its one of the officer's head ! I was shocked and that head scares me .

Suddenly he jumped down infront of my cabinet . He crouch down . His face is so ugly and that image just haunts me . His eyes turned red . He knows I'm here . Our assumptions were wrong . He didn't detect heartbeat .

He detects Fear .
