Step 12 : Kill Order

It's a cold windy day where the sun hides behind the clouds . There's no mission for us . Well , actually we decline the mission to hunt the hunter down but that doesn't mean that our group is useless .

The other group went out in search for supplies . Useless stuff I mean . A box of Cigars . Caffeine . Usually tobacco because the guardians need it to kept them awake .

I kept staring to the other side of the barricade . Ignoring the noise of the chit chat of my group as the ice cold wind bites my cheek .

My eyes caught on a butterfly flying just on top of the barricade . If only we could fly . That would ease thing a bit .

I deeply inhale the air as I stretched my back in a 'C' shape and exhaled with great pleasure . I adjusted my neck my cracking them and slide the cloth of the tent .

"Captain ." Cecil greeted me with a smile while standing holding his moldy bread .

I just smile back at him and allow him to sit down . I grab a chair and joins in the circle . "So , any news ?" I asked .

"Looked like we are almost out of food stock Captain" Zoan answered with his Russian tone .

"Out of food ? We grow crops here " I replied with a shocking face .

"The temperature Captain , can't you feel it's a bit cold now---" Cecil explained , eating his dipped bread with a hot coffee . " better eat while you can Captain , we going to be busy soon . " He continued as soon as he swallowed the bread .

"What about the hunter ?" Gunther just kept grinding his machete . Making sure it's sharp and ready to spill some brains out .

The room came into an absolute silence in face of the question . What can we do actually ?

"We need to kill it Captain!" Zoan rushed out the words that was obviously playing in his mind . " Or we are all going to die !" He hit the table with his hand as soon as the word die came out of his mouth .

"We will die out there .. " I said with a very soft voice . Scared actually . No , worried . I can't lose my team . I lost way too much .

The room went silence again and this time . There's no suitable answer that can reply to what I just said .

I face Gunther . He looked at me and started smiling . He poked Zoan and pointed at me . Then he whispered something into Zoan's ears .

They both started laughing . Then they whispered to Cecil's ears and he started to chuckled .

"What so funny ??" I hissed .

They ignored me and pulled Tom into their team . Tom looked at me and started to giggle .

"What's so Funny??!" I stood up checking my face for any dirt .

"Since when is our captain is afraid of death ? Did you fell in love ?? " They burst out laughing .

"What?!?" My faces felt hot .

"Look ! She's turning red !! " Gunther teased . I walked up to him and give him a big , packed punch in the stomach . He kept on laughing even after the punch .

"Who's the man that caught your manly heart captain ? " Zoan teased me with his romantic voice that make me want to vomit .

"That's enough ! She is still our captain !! " Cecil trying to sound serious eventhough he is still laughing .

"Looked likes we are out of chances boys !! " Tom's voices is like putting oil to the fire of laughter . They burst into a laughing spree that it seems is impossible to be stopped right now .

"Efff you guys ! " I hissed while showing the middle finger to them .

I bolted out of the tent after grabbing my jacket . They were right . It's getting colder .

I went to my friend Helena in order to ask about the crops news . She said that everything I heard were true . The crops were dying . No more fruits . No more vegetables . No more food .

"Arghhhhhhh !! "

The scream snatch our interest and we both flinched . We said our goodbyes and I rushed toward the sound . Everyone is starting to gather round to see what is happening .

It's coming from the medic station . I saw my team and Reggy's blooded face so I decided to ask them .

"What happen ? " I asked with heavy breathing .

"Reggy's crows got bitten -- " Zoan answered with a low but deep voice . His russian accent never left him eventhough he spent a lot of time eith us .

I looked at Reggy and asked how did it happen . He crouched down and hugged him self like a baby .

"Heyy .. What happen ? " I pampered .

"They .. They .. " He sobbed . I can saw tears filling his eyes .

"They what ? " I spoke softly not trying to pressure him .

"They.. Killed all of my teammates !! " He shouted and burst out crying .

I look at Cecil and he jerk his head toward a corner . I leave Reggy with the others and went with Cecil .

"They shouldn't be able to see us .." Cecil said while his hand grabbing his chin .

"They sense us by our heart beat rate-- " I added .

"Reggy's crows is the bravest man I've ever met " He looked at me with his confused face .

"What made them scared ? " I asked .

He kept looking at me and when I looked back . I notices that group 3 had just arrived at the Medic station bringing a bag .

We decided to went back to the Medic Station and asks some question . But our question were frozen in our throat as the group 3 captain opens up the bag .

3 bloody head .

And it all belongs to Reggy's dead teammates .

"Where did you get this ?!" I shouted .

"They were outside of the gates .. "
