*Flashback*

"Hello?" I said into the speaker.

"Is this Amanda?" the voice on the other end said. It was a very serious-sounding woman. She didn't sound familiar.

"Yes, and who are you?" I said.

"That's not important. What's important is the information I have. I know who your father is. And I know that he's planning something. Something terrible. He's looking for you, Amanda. He wants to find you and take you."

"How-"

"Don't question how I know all this, just accept that it is the truth" the woman said, cutting me off. "Listen carefully, Amanda. Your father is plotting something big, and you're his biggest weapon. But once he is done with you, I assure you that he will not let you live. I cannot tell you everything now, but more information will come in due time.

Running away and going into hiding is probably the last thing you want to do,

but if I were you,

I would."

*End of flashback*

I thought back to that first strange phone call I recieved a couple of weeks ago. I've recieved another three calls since then from the same lady, telling me the same thing. She made me write down all the possible ways to contact her when I make my decision.

The thing is, I didn't know if I could trust this lady. She seems legit, and I definitely know what my dad is capable of doing, but I wasn't sure what to do. Should I leave my friends and go into hiding, or stay here and take my chances?

Another thing; I don't even know what this 'big thing' my father is planning is! What could he possibly be doing that is so big and important? I didn't fully understand the situation, so making a decision was even harder.

I sighed and untangled myself from Louis' grasp to check the time. 4:15 A.M, and I still couldn't fall asleep. I haven't been getting much sleep lately. There have been so many things on my mind.

I guess Louis sensed the emptiness in his arms and he pulled me back against his chest. "You alright, babe?" he asked, sleepiness evident in his voice. I wasn't surprised that he noticed. He's barely let go of me since we got out of that barn.

I looked up at his face and smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just can't sleep" I said. See, I haven't told Louis about the phone calls. I knew that if he knew about it, he would run away with me, and I didn't want to drag him into anymore danger.

Louis smiled back and pushed back a stray strand of hair that was covering one of my eyes. "Well, we can't have that! You need your sleep missy. Come to the kitchen and I'll make you a cup of tea" he said and slowly got up from the bed, dragging me to the door with him.

"No, it's fine. You need your sleep too-"

"No! I won't hear it! I want you to get some sleep, so I'm going to make you tea" Louis said, cutting me off. I knew arguing with him was useless, so I just sighed and followed him into the kitchen.

To my surprise, we weren't the only two people in the flat that were awake. Niall and Joanna were sitting on the couch eating cereal.

"Heya guys! What are you doing up?" Niall asked with a huge smile on his face. Joanna smiled at me through a huge mouthful of Cheerios. Why were they so happy?

"Well, my lady here can't sleep, so I'm going to make her tea" Louis proclaimed proudly. He was so god damn adorable, I couldn't help but giggle.

"What are you guys doing up?" I asked Niall and Joanna, smirking. I think I had an idea of what they were doing up at this time.

They looked at eachother, smirked, then redirected they're attention to us. "Oh, we, uh, we couldn't sleep either" Joanna said, then winked at me. I knew it! Those little liars.

I tried very hard to hold in my laugh as I said, "Oh. It must be one of those nights I guess", then gave a thumbs up to my cousin. She blushed and giggled, then returned her attention to whatever conversation her and Niall were having before Louis and I entered the room.

As Louis made my tea, he spoke to me about random things, trying to make me laugh. I smiled, but I wasn't really focusing on what he was saying. I still couldn't stop thinking about the phone calls.

Should I leave or should I stay?

I looked up at Louis and saw that he was staring at me, a huge smile on his face and his eyes glowing with love. He gave me that look so many times a day, and my heart melted every time.

Louis staring at me like this now made me realize something; I didn't want anything happen to him, or anyone that I cared about. I wouldn't be able to live with the guilt if danger was brought to them, and I could have done something to prevent it. I looked at Joanna and Niall staring at each other lovingly on the couch, then I glanced upstairs where the rest of the bunch was sleeping. I came to the conclusion that I would do anything to protect these people.

I grabbed the cup of tea Louis was handing to me and frowned.

I had made my decision.
