~Alexia's P.O.V~

I watched as Louis and Joanna came back downstairs after what seemed like a very long talk. Louis walked right passed us and out the door, slamming it on the way out.

Harry sat up abruptly. "Where's he going?" he asked Joanna in a panic. "I thought you were going to talk to him about this! He's not going to look for Amanda is he?"

"Relax. He's just going for a walk. Clear his mind" Joanna said.

Harry instantly relaxed. "Good. I was really starting to get worried. He's been hearing things ever since Amanda left. I thought he was finally gaining back some sanity, and then he gets this so-called 'phone call' from her. Thanks for talking to him Joanna" he said.

"No problem" Joanna said. But I noticed that she didn't look at Harry as she said it. She was looking down, trying to avoid everyone's gazes.

We all stayed silent for a little while, then Leni spoke up. "Maybe Amanda actually did call" she said.

"It is possible" Erica said from the kitchen. "Sorry Joanna, but maybe you're wrong about all this. Maybe Amanda really is in trouble and we should do something to help her."

"Nonsense!" Niall said, getting up and walking towards Joanna. "Joanna knows Amanda way better than any of us. If she believes that what Amanda wrote in that letter is true, then I believe it too" he finished and put an arm around Joanna, kissing her on the forehead. All she did was smile faintly back at him.

"Niall's right" Liam said. "We should all stop worrying. That won't do anyone any good. We're blowing this way out of proportion. Amanda just needed some space. She'll come back when she's ready."

Everyone mumbled agreements and went back to what they were previously doing. I sat on the couch and thought about the situation for a bit.

I, to be honest, didn't agree with Liam, Niall, and Joanna. I thought it was odd that Amanda just left without telling anyone. I've learned a lot about her since we've met, and I like to believe that we were becoming close friends. She didn't strike me as a person to do something like that.

I didn't think Joanna truly believed it either. The expression on her face said that she was spatting lies. I'm sure the reason she was lying was so we wouldn't worry. But if she knew something, we had the right to know, no matter how worried it would make us.

I sat up and started walking towards Joanna to confront her about it when I felt that all too familiar feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Crap" I mumbled and speed walked to the bathroom. I closed the door behind me, lifted up the toilet seat, and kneeled in front of the bowl.

And I threw up.

This had been happening occasionally over the past week. At first I thought it was something I ate that was causing it, then I thought I had some sort of flu, but now I was starting to fear that something bigger was happening.

There was a knock on the door. "Alie? You alright?" It was Harry. Great.

"Uh, yeah babe I'm fine. Just, uh, you know, peeing" I fake-laughed. The laugh was cut off by some more vomit.

"Are you throwing up?" Harry asked. I could here the panic rising in his voice. I could see he was turning the doorknob, trying to enter. Luckily I had locked the door.

After that throw-up session was over, I answered him. "No, of course not! I'm fine Harry, really. Now get away from the door so I can pee in peace" I said.

There was a small laugh. "If you're sure" he said. I heard his footsteps walking away from the door.

After I was sure there was nothing left to be thrown up, I flushed, rinsed my mouth, and left the bathroom.

"I'm going out for a bit" I said to everyone.

"Where to?" Harry asked.

"Just gonna run a few errands. Be back soon!" I said, grabbed my purse, and walked out the door.

.......

It was now late in the evening. Harry and I were on our way back to our flat. As soon as we got in, I ran to the bathroom, my purse clutched in my hands.

I heard Harry chuckle from the living room. "You're bladder's been acting up a lot today!" he said.

I let out another fake laugh as I closed the bathroom door. "Must've been something I ate!" I said.

I sat on the toilet bowl and took out the pregnancy test I bought while I was out 'running errands'. I read the instructions on the box, did what had to be done, then waited impatiently for the results.

"Please be negative, please be negative..." I mumbled as I paced back and forth in the bathroom. After what seemed like an eternity, I heard a beep coming from the small device. I snatched it off the sink, praying that the results were negative. I looked at the resuts and froze.

There were two small red lines.

My eyes widened.

I was pregnant.
