*Jim's POV*

We walk through the front door of Sherlock's house, Sherlock putting down the keys onto a glass table and he unties his tie until it hangs loose around his neck. He walks quickly towards the bar and I follow him closely behind. He pours himself a glass of some really expensive scotch and downs it in one.

"It's over." I simply say, and Sherlock turns to face me, placing his empty glass down on the bar's surface.

"Yeah. I guess it is." He whispers, staring at the floor and running his fingers through his hair. What's wrong with him?

"What's wrong?" I ask, walking closer to him and lifting his chin with my finger, so he looks directly at me.

"It was all too easy. I feel like.." I shut him up by pressing my lips onto his soft plump ones. I've wanted to do that for so long. He's finally mine. All mine. I release us from the soft and innocent kiss and Sherlock stares at me and smiles.

"We can do that now. We can do that in public now. You can be mine." He says, grinning like mad and taking me into a huge hug. We can be together now. After all that we've been through. Sneaking around and solving a 'case'. He should really be a detective, or at least play one in a movie or TV show. He'd be really good at it.

Sherlock released me from the hug, and he takes a hold of my hand and drags me through the patio doors located next to the bar.

"Where are you taking me?" I ask, slightly worried but feeling adventurous.

"We're going out for a walk. There's a few things I need to say"

We bask in the bright sun as we stroll through one of Sherlock's hidden passages in his gargantuan garden. The birds chirping and the wind breezes softly against my skin as I move slowly across the stone path.

Sherlock's walking with his hands in his pockets, staring up at all of the blooming trees and flowers and staring at the nesting birds. I wonder what's on his mind. He stops in his tracks as he sees a fountain up ahead, benches surrounding the base of it. Statues of naked baby angels are carved into the fountain, like those old fashioned designs you see in the olden days.

He walks towards the bench and he sits down on it. I stay where I stand, and Sherlock patts on the spot next to him. I get a sense of deja vu, thinking back to when he did that when he was giving me the tour of the house. I smile a small smile to myself, remembering that memory, and I walk towards Sherlock. I take the spot next to him on the bench.

"I've been thinking for some time now and... Gosh this is harder than I thought. Erm, I was thinking back to when we first met and I remembered something." My heart begins to pound in my chest as my body begins to full with butterflies. " I remembered that I didn't do something before that I really wanted to do."

I shift my position on the bench, my palms becoming sweaty and my breathing becoming heavier.

"Jim, I've never said it before and...I think that now is the time to say it."

"I love you."

I stare at Sherlock, my breathing extremely heavy and my body literally shaking with butterflies flying around my body.

Sherlock stares at me with worry in his face.

"I love you too." I say and then I take Sherlock's face into a passionate kiss. Our tongues dance with each other, and Sherlock grabs the back of my neck as I cup his cheeks. I've waited so long to hear those 3 words. I never thought that someone was able to love me. It seems like only yesterday I was a total screw up, now look at me, officially dating a celebrity!

I've never been more happy.

Hey guys! Yayayayyayya fangirled so much while writing this.

The next chapter will officially be the last chapter of the book! Noooooo. It's going to be an epilogue about their future and I'm so excited to write it!

Hope you enjoyed the update!
