6.Our powers

With breakfast finished, we swim towards King Adam and Queen Teresa. "Where is the safest, furthest place in town where we can test our powers?" Thomas asks. "The only place I can think of is The Caverns. It is the best place that is still in town."King Adam replies." Thank you, we will head there now so we have the entire day to see what powers we have." Thomas says.

I say goodbye to Alexis and Violet and Thomas and I swim out of the castle due north. We swim for approximately 45 minutes, when we come to large signs with keep out, turn back now and lots of other warning type markings. "Behind this kelp forest is The Caverns. Stay behind me and we will go through slowly so the kelp doesn't catch our tails, the last thing I want is you getting hurt." Thomas says in a protecting way that made me safe. I nod and I take Thomas's hand and swim through the kelp forest.

We kelp forest quicker than I thought. I aim to Thomas's side as I bump into a mermaid with turquoise hair, tail and designs all over her body."I'm so sorry." I exclaim. " It's ok." She says back. "I'm Kaitlyn but you can call me Kat." She bows instantly when she sees Prince Thomas. " I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there." Kat says worryingly." Don't worry about it." Thomas says politely.

"What are doing way out in these parts?" Kat says. I look into her eyes and I see that she can be trusted and whisper into Thomas's ear and say "She can be trusted." I stop and think for a minute and I realize that I have the power to read people's minds. I have a power called telepathy.

You have telepathy. Wait a minute, so do I. Kat looks at us like we're crazy. Thomas and I explain everything that happened and why we're here. She understands and offers to help us out if we need it. We accept.

I know that we could have  invisibly and mind control under the sea and on land we could have fire, water, air, earth, and the same powers that we have under the water.

I just turned invisible.

And I made you not invisible.

We must contain all the magical forces of the werewolves and merpeople.

I love you Rose.

I love you too Thomas.

We swim towards a big opening with a sign marked DO NOT ENTER THIS CAVERN! YOU WILL NOT COME OUT ALIVE!!

We swim past the sign and swim about 2-3 feet inward. "We know we have telepathy and invisibility and know how to use it, all we need to figure out is mind control." I say. "Cha-cha" Kat sings out.

We both say in our minds.

"Somehow we need to get up on land long enough to figure out our land powers." I say. "Why don't we go up to the surface and try to change into humans."Thomas suggests. I have a questioned look on my face.

I have transformation pearls, but they only last for 1 hour.

I nod.

The 3 of us all swim to the surface and Thomas checks to make sure no one is on the inland in front of us. I hear a crunch, and all of a sudden I have legs again.

I trip on a rock and a swirl of water surrounds me. The swirl gently puts me in the sand, with Thomas there waiting for me with a worried look on his face. "Are you alright?!" He exclaims.

I give him a thumbs up. Thomas reaches his hand out to me and I take it see Kat on the shore as I stand. We walk over to her and see her studying her legs. As we get closer, I hear her whisper cools and weirds over and over again.

Kat finally rises and walks to us stubbly while we walk to her." How do you do this so easily?"she questions. "It takes practice." I say.

I see I can control water.

Then Thomas makes an earthquake.

Well done.

As to you.

I make a light gust of wind appear like I have been doing it since I was a child.

Wind check.

Thomas makes a ball of fire in his hand. In the ball of fire, it says something. I love you so much Rose.

"Aww."I say while I blush.I create a swirl of water and set it on the ground, and make the water spell out I love you even more Thomas. Thomas raises an eyebrow, uses mind control to make me blind and all I can hear are whooshes and sizzles and cracks. He returns my sight and make me look up at the clouds, in the clouds it spells out i love you more than you can image with a red heart around it.

I'm sorry that my chapters are short, but I try to make each chapter better and more detailed as I go. I line up my chapters so I can keep my ideas down so that I don't forget. I'm also sorry to keep you waiting so long for a new chapter. I hope you enjoy what I have published so far and I hope you forward to the next ones  because there just might be a little twist coming up. Stay tuned for chapter 7. -ChelseaPitchford
