Traveling Dimensions-Star Stable: Book 1

Night Ride

  I walked to the stables with Jack. Firepetal was already tacked up, even though I unsaddled him earlier. Jack must have saddled him for me. Was he literally going to ask me to go on a ride. However he did it, I'm so excited!  Jack got his horse, Appleboy, and we set off.

  "So, where are we going?" I asked.

  "A surprise. I'm pretty sure you'll love it." He said   He stared galloping and I followed him. About 30 minutes of cantering and galloping, we got to a shore with bridges stretching across the water. I could make out silhouettes of the wooden structures.

  "We are here. Fort Pinta's beach. It's prettier with the sun right behind it. I was going to show it to you and and tell you I like you, but that already happened. " The sun was setting behind the crystal blue water. I could see a few dolphins jumping in the distance.

  "It's amazing! Thank you. I still can't believe it the sun is still out at this time." I said.

  "Yah, this planet's sunsets late and comes up earlier, at least on this side of the planet." He replied. I had to take a picture of sunset.

  "So, since I'm on another planet in a different dimension, how come I still get service? And what about school?" I asked still taking everything in.

  "What, you get service here? Let me see your phone." I handed him my iPhone 5 and he looked at it. I was hoping we would pull out a sonic screwdriver, but that didn't happen. "Ok, this is different than a earth Apple phone. It's wider than it's regular form. Someone must have messed with it to have service in every dimension." He handed it back to me.
 
  "And for school, we are on fall break. So you don't need to worry about going to school in 2 different dimensions."

  "Cool beans. Thanks you." I looked at my special phone. Well, now I know why none of the cases will fit. We sat there looking at the colorful sunset until it got dark.
 
  We walked our horses to the cafe up at the fort. I got a cupcake with a horse hoof candy thing on it. While Jack got bagel. We sat down at a table and I took a bite of the cupcake.

  "This is a cupcake? It's heaven!" Jack laughed at me. "What? This is the most amazing cupcake ever."

  "Wait until you get to Elvendale, they make amazing cupcakes." He said and I smiled. We ate our snacks and talked. It was 9:35 when we got on our horses and trotted back to the stables. I untacked Firepetal and Jack walked me back to my cabin.

  "Thanks for that." I hugged him and he hugged me back. We separated and I walked into the cabin. I heard Anny squeal. "Stop squealing. Dogs 30 miles from here can hear you." I said.

  "Sorry, I love shipping people. I need to find a ship name for you two. How about Jyra!" I laughed.

  "Whatever, I got to get to bed." I got into my pjs and climbed onto my bunk and went over the day in my head.
