Laurel dropped dead.

Several others followed her.

"Laurel!" Sam screamed and ran to her side, checking for her pulse "Laurel!"she screamed.

Calvin was at Rhaiz's side who by the time was now fine and was sitting up.

"Man your eye's still pretty bloody, and now it's b... black and red combined, you gotta see a doctor"Calvin said.

"Y... yeah" Rhaiz got up and ran towards Sam.

"Sam"he asked impatiently "Is she alright? How is her pulse?".

She shook her head and tears formed in her eyes, Rhaiz bent down and checked for her heartbeat.

Calvin came running "Any chance with her?" He asked.

"Nope, she's dead"Rhaiz said, and got up checking out the scene in the ground, numerous students had dropped dead, he sighed and then refocused his gaze to Laurel, and he noticed a weird tattoo on feet forehead that he hadn't noticed before.

"What's that mark?"he asked his question directed to Sam.

"What.. what mark?!"Sam finally controlled her sobbing.

"That one right on her forehead, that two half donut marks, you can't miss

"I'm sorry Sam, looks like my eye's all working up, but yeah I can see the black colored donut mark on her forehead, sorry is it was offensive." Rhaiz said.
