Eva's POV

I walked away ruffling my hair remembering how his hot breath flushed against my ear to my neck. He definitely needed to be tamed and be dumped in holy water.  

I walked out of his room trying to get the farthest away from him as possible.  My parents were impatiently waiting for me by the front door and I felt myself wanting to cower away from my dad's gaze.  He was mad.

He was beyond mad.

He was pissed.

"Are you crazy!" My dad was currently chewing out my ear in the front yard. I felt myself blush in embarrassment at seeing at how many of the workers turned around to listen into our conversation, but I was fed up with all of this marriage business.  

"You know what! Screw freaking Juilliard! I'll find another way to get in!" I turned away from my father not wanting to hear anymore of this crap.  I barely managed to take a couple steps before my mom yelled out. "Do this for him!" 

I felt myself freeze at those words.  I knew she wasn't talking about my father, I knew who she mean't by him.  I could feel tears threatening to come out at the mention of him. I didn't dare face her.  I felt my fists tightened at her using him against me.  

"He would want you to be happy sweetie," she continued to torture me filling me with my past memories. All the ones with him.  

I hated it even more knowing that she was right.  I was nineteen and I couldn't live the rest of my life in pain anymore.  

I turned around to face my mom still angry. "Fine! I agree to this contract in one condition.  You give me a year to see if I can really marry him." 

This was a win-win situation,  my parents would be happy, I would be going to Juilliard and after a year I would be free.  

There was absolutely no way that I would fall for him.

I signed the contract dreading every second of it, and passed it to so called the alien of a man that I was supposedly marrying.  He looked at me and seemed pleased at the terms and I knew that he would enjoy knowing that this ordeal would end in a year.  He signed it with no hesitation and our parents seemed happy knowing that now their assets would double and so would their income.  

His mom clapped her hands together. "We should get you guys moved in right away!" My head snapped up at what she just said.  She was delusional if she thought that I was living with him for a whole year. 

He seemed exasperated at this fact as well, and hastily grabbed the contract and read the material that we had failed to read.  His eyes scanned down them and after a few seconds he let out a curse and threw the papers in frustration.  

Bravo.

Our parents played us well. 

We were only business to them.  

Very well, I'll just have to play harder. 

Let the games begin.
