Our story Begins

Today, I watched on as my daughter had her coronation and her wedding. I know you might be wondering why we had them on the same day, but that would be getting into a completely different story than I am going to be telling you today. The story I will be telling is that of unending love, tremendous bravery, and breathtaking adventure. The story is of May, a young girl at the time who never could have known what was coming her way. Whether she knew it or not, May, as a baby had been taken from her home, and left on a cozy doorstep of a small cottage with no memory of who her parents were, or where she had come from. As it turns out, the house that she was left in front of, belonged to a lovely elderly couple who had grown old together, but were not able to have children. When they discovered the precious baby May, they immediately adopted her as their own, and raised her with all the love and care that a girl could ever have.

Over the years, May grew into a lovely and beautiful young woman.  As her 18th birthday was soon approaching, the old couple had planned a wonderful celebration and had invited all of May's closest friends to celebrate with them, as is American tradition. But as it turned out, on the glorious day of the celebration, two crystal wings sprouted from May's back just as she walked into the house after school that day. The old couple still had the party for their beloved daughter, and just passed the wings off as fake, they were simply plastic.  As the guests arrived, they all marveled at her beautiful wings, and bought the lie about her wings, but one such guest was not to be fooled. He was in fact May's best friend, Vine, and he knew immediately who she was and where she had come from.
