The next day Krystal awoke at dawn, and stood a moment to look at the sunrise. She then noticed an outfit had been laid out on the end of the bed, and she quickly put it on. surprisingly, it fit her perfectly. It would be the perfect outfit to train, it consisted of leggings, underneath a flowing skirt with a skintight, stretchy top. She then headed downstairs, and Ice was already waiting for her. As she went to eat breakfast, she found that there was none left for her. Ice stated simply that the early bird gets the worm and walked out the door. Krystal had no choice but to follow him. Ice lead her to a small clearing with a large tree in the center.
Suddenly there was a voice in her head, Ice hadn't said anything, so who could it have been. She retaliated with a sarcastic "what". Once she realized that she had just spoken without opening her mouth, it was too late, Ice whirled around on the middle of the clearing with a mischievous smirk on his face. She gave him a questioning look, and he stated simply that what she had done was called telepathy. It is when you convey your thought or words into another person's head without saying anything out loud. He then proceeded to walk towards her with creepy grin on his face, until he was about an arm's length away from her, she acted like she was going to push him back, but before she could touch him, he stumbled back into the mud by an unknown force. He quickly got up and told her that she was able to use magic, but that she needed more practice.
He gave her many exercises to try in order to strengthen the use of her magic. Most of them consisted of simple feats such as lifting a small stone off of her palm and increasing the weight as it got easier for her or taking water from a stream and forming it into a ball in her hand. He also taught her to move an object from one place to another and to turn an object invisible to hide it. As the invisibility skill improves, she will be able to, over time, turn herself or a large group of people invisible to hide them or to use as a battle tactic.
