 (~~~~~Finns P.O.V.~~~~~)

Its been three days, THREE DAYS, since The princess stabbed (name). I haven't left the Candy Kingdom once, even though Jake keeps trying to convince me to. I can barely even find the will to move more than a hallways length away from Bubblegums lab. I haven't seen (name) or Bubblegum since that night. Neither of them had come out. Gripping my knees harder to my chest I bit my lip, tears running down my face again for the millionth time. Her eyes, they went dead, it was like she was already gone.
"Please don't leave me yet. Please Glob just give her back," I prayed, my forehead resting on my knees as my body shook, "Please... I need her."
My tears dripped onto the ground, the soft sound of them hitting the floor echoed through the lonely hall. My heart ached as I thought of her smiling face, her laugh, and her warmth. If she dies I... I can't be the only one of my kind again. I'm not strong enough to handle that. My head is pounding and my stomach growls a complaint. I haven't eaten. I haven't slept. I can't, not unless I know she's okay.
"Please (name)," I pleaded softly as if she could hear me, "I need you."

(~~~~~Back To Reader^_^ ~~~~~)
I need you. That one simple sentence was what made you question your own existence. Who needed you? Everything existed to be needed by someone or something, didn't it? So if no one or nothing needed you, then what was your purpose? Did you even have one? Or were you just meant to be some ones experiment for the rest of your seemingly endless life?
"Finn." A voice said breathlessly. Did it come from you? His name wrung in your ears. The image of the boys sparkling blue eyes, his handsome face and messy blonde hair made you stir. Finn, does he need you? "Finn..."
You can hear the faint sound of footsteps, but they're muffled as if you're under water. Then the familiar sound of water doused tapping echoed in your ears.
"(Name)? Did you say something?"
"...Finn."
"Subject seems to be talking in her 'sleep'" A soprano voice said, "Day three, seventy-four hours total. Wound in upper abdomen is fully healed, no scar tissue or mark at point of entry. Subjects ability to regenerate is confirmed. Next test will be to confirm enhanced muscle structure and superior respiratory system functions."
"Finn."
Footsteps were quieting as they traveled away from you. Each light tap making you flinch. Where's Finn? He said he wouldn't ever leave you, where is he? As you thought about the blonde a strange feeling began to build in your chest like it had before. It felt almost sufficating, like a balloon was filling with air in your chest. After a long moment it spread to the rest of your body. Your eyes snapped open and your limbs moved with a will of their own, pushing away from your body. The sound of glass shattering and crashing rung in your ears. Your feet touched a cold platform as water rushed past you and spread onto the floor. Water dripped from your body and hair as you pulled an oxygen mask away from by your face. Bubblegum let out a soft shriek, making your eyes dart up into hers. Fear was emotion that burned bright in her eyes. Your gazes locked for a long moment. The strange feeling began to subside and you felt dizzy. The room began to spin as you heard a large door slam open. The blue eyed boy rushed in, his sword drawn. He looked pale, and had deep bags under his eyes. Reaching out your hand to him you tried to step forward.
"Finn..." you whispered with a soft smile. Before you even realized it you tipped over onto the floor. You tried to force your eyes to focus but they refused.
"(Name)!"
"She'll be fine Finn," Bubblegum said, grabbing Finns arm to prevent him from getting closer to you. She stepped closer to stand over you, squatting to get a good look at your eyes, "She just hasn't fully healed yet."
You knew it was the princess, but the face before you was that of your last "mama". Cringing inwardly as you were about to black out, you tried to you look for Finn. Blindly forcing a microscopic smile, you spoke in a barely audiable whisper.
"I told y-you it would be okay Finn,"
When you woke up again, you were in a room with a high ceiling. The plushness of the large mattress you were lying in was strange, but not uncomfortable. Your eyes only wandered for a moment until they fell on a body. The upper half of the blond, who was haphazardly laying on the edge of the bed. He was seated in an uncomfortable looking wooden chair, but had his chest and head on the bed. You smiled, and sat up. As the heavy comforter slid down to your lap you noticed that your chest was binded with medical gauze. Lifting up the blanket slightly, you saw that you were also wearing a pair of shorts. Thank goodness for that. You moved as softly as you could to lay so your face was near Finns. Even upside down he was such a cutie. He looked so young when he was sleeping. You lied there just looking at him for a long while, your hand placed gingerly on top of his. The window above your bed showed stars in the sky, you supposed that it was the middle of the night.
"Thank you for being here Finn," You said softly to him. Leaning in close you hesitantly brushed your lips against his, giving him the most gentle of kisses. You gave his hand a soft squeeze when you pulled away, your face still only a handful of inches away from his, and felt your lids slide shut again.

Finn woke up because the sun was shinning down on his face from the window. He was about to stand up so he could close it and go back to sleep but he paused when he realized that you were right in front of him. Your hair was fanned out behind you He smiled softly to himself and stretched his arm to pull the blinds shut as quietly as possible. Once they were shut he moved onto the bed, sliding his arms underneath you so he could put you back under the covers. He held you against himself, and moved gently so he was under first.
"Finn,"
His movements halted, and his face burned slightly with a freshly blooming blush. Finn looked down at you, only to find that your eyes were still shut. He let out a relieved sigh, but smiled.
"You could say anything in your sleep," He said softly, as he slid under the covers with you in his arms, "and your mouth decides to say my name."
As Finn lied down, he held you on top of his chest. He could feel your breathing and the beat of your heart. One of his arms slipped to your waist, and the other move to pull the covers up. You stirred slightly, and let out a sleepy moan. That sound made him feel funny, it made butterflies turn in his stomach, and his chest tighten.
"Finn," You said again, this time with more conviction. He felt you grip onto his shirt and move against him. He could tell that you were about to wake up, and for some reason that made him nervous. Not really knowing what to do he closed his eyes to pretend he was sleeping.
Opening up your eyes, you could see that the sun had come up. You smiled to yourself when you realized what you were laying on. His muscle hardened chest lacked the cushony feel of the mattress, but snuggling into his warmth you felt so much safer. Removing your body from his, you moved so you could crouch over him. You placed your elbows on either side of his head and smiled down at him, it was easy to tell that he was pretending to be asleep. Leaning down so you could bury your face in the curve of his neck, you somewhat sheepishly planted a kiss there. Hearing him gasp you pulled away to look into those deep blue eyes of his.
"W-what was that for (name)?" He asked, looking up at you with wide eyes and a blush.
"I, I wanted you to wake up." You answered, your face taking up a light pink hue to match his, "How did you sleep?"
"Good, how about you?"
"Not very good when you weren't there." You admitted. Your eyes locked with his, making your heart race, "I'm sorry Finn, you know, for scaring you. I saw how worried you were, and for that I apolog-"
Your words were cut off when Finn wrapped his arms firmly around your waist and hugged you tight. He pressed your chest against his and buried his face in your neck. After a long moment of this you wrapped your arms under his neck to return his embrace.
"I missed you so much," he said against your skin, "I've never been so scared in my life."
"You were afraid of me?" You asked.
"No," Finn said firmly, "I was afraid for you (name), I thought I lost you."
You hugged him tighter as a sufficating feeling built in your chest. It mirrored the feeling you had in the lab, but this time it's mixed with joy. No one had ever expressed such care towards you.
"I don't want to loose you (name)," He said in a gentler tone, "because I, because I love you."
You sat up from him slightly, and looked into his stunning crystal blue eyes. The sincerity in his tone was enough to make tears of happiness build in your eyes. You had never known love before, but something told you that this is what it felt like.
"Even though I'm different?"
"Of course," he said with a nod and a soft smile. You returned his smile, and leaned in towards his lips.
"I love you to Finn," You whispered before connecting your lips with his. The way your lips moved against his made your body heat up. His hands rubbed your back, the warmth of them against your bare skin making you hum into his mouth. You entwined your fingers in his blonde hair and held him close. Although you never wanted this moment to end, it was cut short by someone clearing their throat in the doorway. Both you and Finn stopped your movements. He looked towards the door, and you sighed, already knowing who it was.
"(Name), we need to-"
"I know Princess," You said, cutting her off, then looking her in the eye, "we need to talk."
You quickly unwound your limbs from Finns and began to move off the bed. As you took a step away you felt his rough hand grip your wrist, halting your movements. He was sitting on the mattress, his eyes curious and pleading. You turned to face him and craddled his face between your palms.
"I'll be back in no time," You said and pecked his lips, "I promise."
Before leaving you kissed him again. It was long and sweet, sealing your promise to return. You slipped from his grasp and walked away with the princess. You followed behind her quietly as she led the way back to her lab. Once there, she sat in a chair behind her desk and you sat in a chair in front of it.
"Your DNA says that you are in fact a human (name)," Bubblegum started, folding her hands on top of his desk, "but it also shows that your genetic make up has been tampered with. Quite a lot actually. Would you care to elaborate?"
"Its a long story." You said with a partial sigh.
"From the results of the tests I ran on you, I would say that you and I have all the time in the world for it."
Her words made you smirk. That very quality about yourself was something you hated, it has caused you so much pain up until this point. And it certainly would only cause you more, now that you have Finn. Although your story was nothing like a fairy tail, you decided that it would sound nice if you started it off like one.
"Once upon a time," you began with a soft reluctant tone, "a sick little girl was born, named (name)..."
