Okay so I just started watching this show on season 2.
Basically it about someone named Klaus and his family and they where the first ever vampire in history. However he has a different father than the others and he came from a werewolf blood line so he was half werewolf half vampire and they call him the HYBRID! Klaus family included his brother Elijia ,Cole and Finn and his sister Rebbeca and Freya. When Klaus was young he adopted and orphan called Marcel. Klaus had left his city for a while and when he came back he realised his city was run by Marcel and there was conflict between vampires, werewolves and witches. A lot more happens but don't want to spoil it if you do start to watch it.
P.S Klaus and his family came in The Vampire Diaries for a few seasons wicked.
