I woke up to find a note from Anthony that read:
Good morning V, big game tomorrow so coach called us in for an extra practice. I made sure to call the RA before I left and he should show up to our room at around noon. Practice should end at five, see you then.

Well at least I know he's not getting his crazy self in trouble anywhere, so that's a relief. But with him gone and the RA on his way, I should probably get changed.
As I slipped into a loose, long sleeve shirt and jeans, I heard a knock on my door. As I made my way across the room and peeped through the little hole on the door, I saw are buildings RA.
I opened the door, only to be greeted by a 6 ft tall, caucasian, young man."Hi, Tom Wheeler! I understand your heating unit is broken?"
"Yeah, it wouldn't come on last night and it was super chilly in here." I responded, as Tom took a closer look at our unit.
"It seems to be broken, but that'll be no problem! I can have our handy man over in about an hour to fix it." He said while turning around to face me.
"Yeah, that should be fine." I said, as Tom nodded in reply.
He jovially made his way out of our dorm as I thanked him, and then I was left alone again. I decided to clean up around my side of the room and do some laundry.
As I made my way down to the washroom across from our dorm's building, I couldn't help but fall straight on my butt. I winced in pain and then began to pick up my clothes and put them in my bag once again.
"Here you go." Said a deep, male voice from behind me.
As I turned around I saw my Broadcasting Journalist teacher, holding a pile of my clothes.
"Thank you." I said as I reached out for the pile and stuffed it in my bag. I hurriedly sped off into the laundry room as my teacher followed.
"Valerie wait!" He said while grabbing my arm. " I have some exciting news for you. How would you like to cover tomorrow's game versus Duke?" He smiled brightly, causing his dimples to show.
"I would love t - wait, did you just say against Duke?" I asked, my joy being wiped away.
"Yes, it's bound to be one of the biggest games! I thought you might like the opportunity, given how excellent you've been in my class." He said, watching my expression. "Is there a problem? I can get you a different game if so, I'm sure someone else would take it." He stated.
"No, no! It's all good, I'm just a little nervous that's all." I said, shifting my eyes to the floor.
"Good, then meet me at the gym at 5pm! That's enough time before the game to show you all the ropes and what you'll be doing." He smiled again and then quickly exited.
What have I gotten myself into?
-
"Hey!" Anthony greeted me as he roughly threw his gym bag on the floor and got out some clean clothes.
"Hi." I mumbled lowly, staring at my phone screen.
"What's wrong? Did you miss me too much?" He smiled and then sat down on the edge of my bed.
"Right, right, right." I chorused, putting my phone down and looking at him.
"Let me take a shower and then we can talk about this, okay?" He questioned and I nodded.
It wasn't even 15 minutes later that Anthony had strolled back into the room fresh and shirtless.
"Hello beautiful." He smirked, causing me to smile. "Tell Doctor Davis what's on your mind." He stroke a pose on his bed and I burst out laughing.
"Oh God, I think you just scarred me for life, Anthony." I laughed, "But tell me about practice first."
"Well practice, was practice. We did some drills, I dunked on a couple of guys, no big deal. Oh, but we did come up with a couple new plays, so that's cool." He rambled on and on, but even in the midst of his rambling I still thought he was cute.
"Now what about you?" He asked, sitting on the edge of my bed again. "What's been on your mind lately?"
"Honestly, only you, but .."
"But what?
"Well, I got offered to help out at the game tomorrow, but I just feel like it's going to be weird. I mean I'm not ready to face Austin and what if I completely mess up at this job? Plus my teacher said there would be a big turn out of people watching and I just don't want to mess up." I stressed, squeezing my pillow in my arms.
"Valerie, everything's gonna be okay. You'll do great at your job, and you must already be really amazing if your teacher came and asked you to do it first. Besides, even if you do mess up you still gain experience, and that can help you for when you report again next time." He cooed, brushing a fallen strand of hair out of my face.
"Thank you, it means alot especially from you." I hummed, my cheeks blushing a bit.
"And as for Austin," he continued, "I'll beat the shit out of him if he tries anything."
"Oh." I stuttered, feeling a bit of discomfort. "How about you get some rest, its going to be a big day tomorrow for you." I proposed, Anthony nodding in agreement.
As Anthony turned out his light and told me goodnight, I layed in my bed and prayed to God everything would run smoothly tomorrow.
A/N; So, the trio finally meet tomorrow, any thoughts?
