I was really expecting me to not react as badly as I did when Channing went home with everyone else, but I reacted horribly.

I sobbed my eyes out.

He was apologizing profusely.

He promised he'd come to me if we lost contact.

It's gonna take me six months to finish what I have to do, and it sucks because he's already in Idaho.

It's already been three months. I'm putting a second story on CC22 and I have that happening all over the country.

It's already October.

I'm gonna be done before November. It's October 16th.

My restaurant is finished and open again.

Now I'm how hunting, but Channing is on skype with me and he doesn't know I'm house hunting.

Our families are staying in Utah, but Kathryn and James already moves to Utah, and apparently Kyle and his fiancé moved there too.

Now it's just waiting on me.

"Pay attention to me!" Channing says, hitting the camera on his laptop.

I laugh. "Calm down."

He sighs, but he doesn't hang up.

"What would you do right now if I got on my phone and started watching porn?" he asks.

"You'd never do that in front of me."

He laughs but doesn't say anything else.

I find the perfect place.

"Babe, I'll call you back." I say. "Amy's calling."

"Alright."

I hang up and dial the retailor.

I talk with him and then just buy the townhouse, and then I go down and tell the office I'm moving and fill out paperwork, and I start to pack.

The place comes furnished.

They the end of the night, everything I want is packed, so I load up the truck, finish last little things with the office, and then I start the long drive to Idaho.

I keep forgetting to call Channing back, or I forget to text him.

I'm almost there. It's taken me three days.

My phone vibrates while I'm getting gas.

Channing.

We need to talk

I text him back when I finish filling the tank.

Me: what's wrong?

Call me.

Worried, I start the truck and begin driving again. I dial Channing.

"If you want this long distance thing to work, you can't ignore me, Cam."

"I know. I'm sorry, I've just really been trying to get everything done. I love you."

"I love you too." He says quietly.

It's midnight when I pull into Channing's driveway.

His truck is parked there.

It's Friday, so they're all having movie night, which we all ageed to make a tradition.

CHANNING'S POV

I hear an engine outside, and it's loud. It shuts off.

It's loud and familiar.

The second I hear it, I jump up and sprint to the door.

I rip it open, preparing my hopes to be crushed.

But I'm overjoyed when I see Cam, wearing sweatpants and a tank top, barefoot, in twenty degrees, walking up to my front door.

She wasn't answering because she was driving.

Everyone is behind me.

"Babbbbbbbeeeeee!" I grin, picking her up.

She locks her legs around my waist.

She looks exhausted, but she's smiling as she gives me a long kiss.

"You're not supposed to be here for another three months!" I say, carrying her into the house.

"I worked hard." She smiles.

"Are you hungry?" I ask, setting her down on the counter.

She nods.

"Very."

"Do you want real food, or do you want a snack?"

"Both. I can help myself."

"Okay. By the way, I bought one of those boxes of random chips and there's this one kind nobody likes."

She pulls the box off the top of the fridge, grinning when she sees the purple Doritos.
