CHANNING'S POV
It's so cold outside.
Thanksgiving was spend in Alta, so everyone is coming to us in Christmas. We've got everybody on Skype. We're having Kyle's family and Kourtney's family and Kathryn's and James, and mine, and Cam's.
It's gonna be over fifty people.
Even Cam's Aunt and Uncle are coming. She told me she is working on it.
I respect her decision. I'm going to be there for her either way.
We're fighting over where we're going to have Christmas at.
"I'm telling you to come to us!" Nana says, pissed off.
It's a huge skype chat with like ten different computers.
Aunt's and Uncle's and secnd and third cousins.
It's a lot of people.
"No, we came to you for thanksgiving!" Matt says.
Everyone is arguing.
I can tell Cam is starting to get pissed off.
"No, alright!" she says silencing everybody. "We're having it here. If you guys wanna have it there, by all means, go ahead!"
"Cam, where do you expect to find the room?" Mom asks, mad.
"My house is big enough." I say.
"No it's not." I say.
She glares at me.
"Fuck it. I'm not going. I hate social events anyways!"
"Wait!" Kathryn shouts over everyone's bitching.
Everyone silence.
"We're having it here. Everyone can get a hotel or stay with various people."
"Where are we going to hold the actual event, Kathryn?" Cam hisses.
She hates planning.
"CC22." Kathryn says.
We fill everyone in on what CC22 is, and then there's silence.
Everyone looks at her.
"Well?" Mom prods
"I haven't even opened CC22 in McCall yet." I frown.
"How long until you can have it open?" Papa asks.
I sigh. "Guys, CC22 isn't really the place to spend Christmas."
"Yes it is. I liked it in New York." Mom shrugs.
Everyone that was there mutters in agreement.
"I mean, if you don't want us to honey," Mrs. Armstrong starts.
"No, it's fine." Cam says. "I gotta go. I got shit to do."
<><>
There's a week until Christmas and I haven't seen Cam in three weeks. I miss her.
I've been calling her for three weeks but the only time I can reach her is at nighttime and even that's rare because she's exhausted.
I've spoken to her maybe twice.
I opened my pet store here already and I'm driving down the main street on the way to my pet store when I see Cam standing on the sidewalk, on the phone, all bundled up, talking to a guy who is on a ladder setting up the CC22 logo.
