Addison's POV~
After training every weekend with the pack, I feel so much stronger and much more confident. Emma's at my house right now, working on a project with me. Some English project.
"Hey Emma?" I said, unsure of how to put this.
"Yeah?"
"So... I noticed that your eyes widened the first time you saw me after a while." I said.
"About that...." She trailed off.
"Could I ask, why?" I asked curiously.
"Erm. I sensed your power.. The powerful aura around you." She answered.
"Mhmm. How?" I asked. I knew the answer, just wanted to know if she would tell me.
"Uhh..." She looked away.
After a minute or two of silence, I confessed. "Em, I know you're a werewolf."
"What? How? Is it that obvious?"
"No! No. It's not that. I am one too. My wolf told me."
"Really?! Can I see your wolf?" She asked excitedly.
"We can't show her, Addi." My wolf said.
"Why not?" I asked.
"She can't know that we're an extremely rare wolf." I nodded.
"Sorry, not really. My wolf said no. But is it okay with you if I see yours?" I said somewhat sad.
She nodded and walked into my bathroom and came back out as an ash colored wolf with white socks. She looked so adorable. I squealed like a little girl and reached to hug her. I hugged her for a while, maybe 15 minutes before she whined and started to wiggle out of my grasp.
"You're beautiful." I say in awe. She trotted back into the bathroom and came back out as herself with her clothes.
"Thanks. I really wished I could see yours." She smiled sadly. "Sorry but, you'll see it during the fight..."
"Well, we better finish this project." Emma declared. I nodded and started to work on it again.
"I want to schedule a meeting with my Alpha to see if he'd let you meet my pack." She said out of the blue. I nodded and continued working.
The day of the fight is coming soon. It's only a few days away, on Saturday. It was Wednesday today. I wonder how they will react. I didn't tell my parents but I asked them to train me and they didn't question.
I stayed awake at night, thinking about the fight. What could go wrong and the effects after that.
I was awake Friday night. Thinking. Then Saturday came.
I woke up at 10:45. Adam said to be at the parking lot at 1. I showered and everything.
Once I made it there, a crowd was already forming. I heard people saying "I bet she's not even going to show up." I ran and hid behind a car.
After a minute or two, I heard some more voices, "Waste of my time."
"Addison. Come out. I know you're there. I can sense your weakness and fear rolling off." He commanded, in what I recognize as the Alpha tone. I heard that wolves can't go against that but I didn't feel the need to listen.
"Just go, we can't hide forever right?" Ava said into my head. Ehh, I guess. I emerged from behind the black Toyota.
