Addison's POV~

Lunch time was not very fun. I heard so many girls gossip about "the new kid" and so many guys entertain themselves by telling themselves that Nathan was weak and shit. And the lunch was horrible, fucking cardboard pizza. I had to run all the way to Wendy's to buy a burger. Wendy's was only about a block away but still. A block is a block.

Nathan didn't seem to mind, I'm pretty sure he heard them though. We were currently sitting down with Emma, Tristan, and Kelly at a small round table. Darryl was out of school and he had patrol until 8 today.

Tristan wouldn't stop glaring daggers at Nathan and Nathan sees it, but he's doing a great job at covering his emotions. Us girls were having a conversation about clothes while Nathan and Tristan were having a stare-down. Soon, lunch was over and it was time to go on to AP Seminar.

Then came P.E. It was the time of swimming, I hated swimming. Nathan and I had to put some kind of concealer.

I had to get This class was only for werewolves, I was recently moved here and I don't really like it. I liked it more with he humans. There's a special class for humans so they don't get hurt.

We were swimming at this time and the males who had mates in the same class had to watch over the girls, it was cute. Though the unmated guys kept watching us as we swam. I felt some werewolf eyeballs burning my head as I swam. Once I got out, Nathan immediately wrapped a towel around me.

The guys that were watching me walked up to me, "Hey. You're a great swimmer." The one with dark brown hair tried to compliment. I could tell they were trying to peek under the towel but I kept it wrapped tightly. I began to dry the now wet glob of fabric on my arm. Then I realized, both boys were mate less at the moment. It was a bad time for Nathan's turn to be happening right now.

"Thanks." I simply said and began walking away. "You're really pretty too." The second one said. "Thanks. I'm taken though." I told them, still walking. "By who?" The same guy snickered. "You don't need to know." I snapped, I stopped moving.

"Oh come on, sweet cheeks. You might be my mate." He said lowly. "No, I can't. I'm taken." I said to the guy who ran in front of me.

"Even if you're taken, it doesn't have to be your mate." He reasoned. "Mates can smell each other dip shit. You're not. Stop trying. Tell your friend to stop too before my boyfriend whacks the shit out of you two." I said lowly.

"I doubt he can. 2 against 1? Unlikely." The other guy said. "No, it's 2 against 2, I'll whack you too, you nugget." I walked to the bench. They followed me and yanked the towel off me when I was bending down to get a towel for Nathan. Cold air whipped against my exposed stomach and legs.

I tried to grab my towel back but they held it away from me and I couldn't get it without leaning on one of them. I wrapped Nathan's towel around me and they stole that too. I grabbed another one and they stole it again. That happened until we were out of towels, in just a minute or two.

I groaned aloud as I realized there was no more towels. They were covered in them though. "Give me my towel or I'm gonna whack the shit out of you." I said threatening tone. I'm surprised the teacher didn't do anything about it.

"Try to. You're a girl and there's two of us." The guy snickered. "What if I'm a girl? You're getting on my nerves." I said louder. I continued to reach for the towels, but no luck. I was starting to get cold. Someone wrapped their arms around my waist and growled. "Give me the fucking towels." A guy's voice said, I immediately recognized it as Nathan's.

He was towering over the two guys with his 6 ft. body. He easily grabbed two towels and wrapped one around me. "Thanks." I mumbled. The guys had already dropped all the towels and scurried off. Nathan brought me to the bench and we sat there, blabbing about until everyone was done so we could go change.

Today was alright, it could have been better. There was also a shitload of homework to do.

"If they bother you again, just call for me next time. I don't want bitches touching what's mine." Nathan broke the silence that formed during the car ride.

"Okay. I will. Thanks for not putting up a show." I said thoughtfully. "It took all my power not to throw them in the pool and keep them under the water." He chuckled lightly.

The rest of the ride was silent, a peaceful silence.

Nathan was really smart, he basically did my homework for me. He finished both of our homework in just 3 hours when I had calculated 5 and a half hours of homework.

"Hey, can we talk?" He asked. "Sure? Should I be worried?" I asked, was he going to dump me and reject me?

"No, no, I'm not going to reject you or dump you, babe." I looked at him confused. "Left your thoughts loose."

I blushed slightly and nodded. He grabbed my hand and led me upstairs to our room.

"Sit." He said. I obliged and plopped down on the bed. He closed the door and sat down next to me.

"Okay. Remember about the... Uh... Thing you found on my arm?" He asked carefully. I nodded. "The thunderbolt looking shape?"

It was his turn to nod. "Okay, well, it's... Uhm... I trust you..." He continued. "I was born with it. It just expanded as I grew up." He scratched his head awkwardly as I digested the little information.

I nodded in understanding, he was just like me. "Do you know why?" I asked. "Uh.. I think so."

"You wanna tell me why?" I asked as I looked up at him, keeping a straight face.

"Not at the moment, no." He said as if he had a choice. "You don't have a choice. Just tell me." I laughed softly.

"Speed." Was all he said and he walked out the door. I felt sad and lonely. He left me like he was angry. I missed his presence and his smell.

I ran down the stairs, trying to look for him. Where did he go? I searched the building.

Where would he have gone?

"Is he mad?" Ava whimpered. "Why would he be mad?" I answered confidently.

"I don't know... He walked out on us. He never did that to us." She said with a confused tone. That's true...

"Nate!" I tried to call for him. No response.

"Nathan!" I tried again. I heard a faint mumble.

"Are you okay? Where are you? Should I come get you?" I asked worriedly. I sound like the Alpha chasing his Luna.

"I'm fine. I'll come back soon. I'm just on a run. Shh. Hold on. I hear something." He replied. Oh my god! He's going to get murdered!

"Where are you?! Get your ass back to this house. Right now!" I said worriedly into his mind.

"Rogues! Get your dad or something please. I'm surrounded. I'm near the West border." He said quickly.

"Daddy! Can you round some of your men? Nathan's surrounded by rogues!! West border!" I shouted into my dad's head.

"On it. Stay safe. Don't come." He replied almost instantly. Yeah... Too late. I'm out already. I ran out the door and shifted into my wolf, running towards the West border. I flashed over there and ran into one of the rogues.

There weren't many but, there was enough to bring down a group of maybe 6 normal wolves. My dad soon arrived and took them down.

"I didn't tell you to come!" Nathan said.

"I told you to stay where you were. And I doubt you were already here." My dad said at the same time.

"Too bad." I said sheepishly. Heheh. I began to run back to the house.

The house was in sight. I made it a few kilometers away from the garden, I heard shouting and then, the world turned black.
