Chapter 13

Nathan's POV~

"Addison! Turn around!!" I shouted. There was a shadowed figure moving towards her. "ADDISON!" I shouted. There wasn't much I could do. I tried to speed up to her but it seemed like my power just disappeared. I tried shifting, I couldn't. I was going as fast as I could in human form, it wasn't enough.

"Addison!!" Zach(Addison's Dad) and I shouted at the same time. Then, the shadowed figure made it to her and was gone in a flash. She was gone. Then I suddenly rushed forward. My speed was back.

Addison's gone. My mate is gone. My Luna is gone.

I shifted into my black wolf and howled in despair.

I'll find you, don't worry. I'm coming.

Addison's POV~

My head was pounding, throbbing. My neck hurt. I groaned softly and slowly opened my eyes. I was lying down on the hard, cold floor. There was something clamped around my ankle.

It was dark, really dark. I couldn't see much, but I could tell I was in a cell. I moved around a bit and peered the bars. I could make up some shadowed figures. It was really dark, just two lightly lit torches for the whole place.

There was a small window with bars. It was night time. Where am I? Where is Nathan? Where's my dad? I heard a small whimper. I immediately looked away from the window and back at my dark cell.

"Hello?" I whispered, though it was unlikely anyone would hear. The whimper was heard again and I began moving towards the sad sound. I was feeling around for anything when something soft hit my foot. "Hello?" I whispered again.

The "thing" that hit my foot began to move. I screamed, careful to be not too loud though, and jumped back. "H-hello?" A girl's voice was heard, extremely close to me.

"Who are you? Where are you?" I asked frantically, but still not very loud. "I'm right next to you." The female voice was heard again. I began to feel around for the source of the sound. My hand hit something next to me. "Oof."

"Sorry!" I said. "It's fine." A light, friendly chuckle was heard.

"Hi! My name is Naomi. And I guess I'm your cell mate." Naomi' said. "My name is Addison." I smiled even though I knew she couldn't see me. "Nice to meet you! How'd you get here?" She asked curiously.

"I...."

"Don't... know." I actually didn't know. The sun was beginning to rise, I could see the bright rays lighting up the morning sky.

"How long have you been here?" It was my turn to ask the questions. "About 3 days." She answered casually.

We talked on about our past life, nothing too personal. When I was finally able to see, I realized how she looked. She had long, straight brown hair, slim figure, and a beautiful shade of brown for eyes. She was beautiful even though she had dirt all over her, she wore rags, and her hair was tangled but I could tell it was straight.

Soon, the sun was shining bright right on top, in the middle. Sunlight leaked through the barred windows. The door creaked open and a shadowed man walked in, oh so slowly.

He stood in the shadows, not showing his face to us. He did not even talk. Soon, another figure walked in and stood by the shadowed one.

"Addissssssssson." The creature hissed. What the hell? Snake-man? I immediately stood up.

"How do you know my name? What do you want with me?" I said with a strong, clear voice. Well, tried to say in a strong voice. "You do not need to know, ssssweetheart. All you need to know is, never try to esssscape, you won't make it very far. Jussssst a tip." The snake-man hissed. I could not see their face or any part of their body.
