Samantha sat in the chair, Wanda in a seat beside her, each one of them leaning over to shake hands with the blonde woman and her dark haired friend. Samantha had given Coulson plenty of warning but he hadn't gotten back to her and the two young women felt as though they had little choice other than to give the interview. "You realise what you girls are about to do? You're about to turn yourselves into newer versions of Edward Snowden," the blonde, Patricia 'Trish' Walker, asked, just an edge of excitement to her voice. It would die down eventually, Samantha decided.
"They wouldn't be here if they didn't know what they were getting themselves into Trish," the dark-haired, muscular yet slim woman responded almost on their behalf "Jessica Jones," she introduced herself and Samantha kicked herself internally for not having recognised the woman who had 'killed' Kilgrave.
"Yeah, well, when Kilgrave frames you for terrorism and the organisation you work for are insistent that you're guilty, calling it a problem is the understatement of the year," Samantha deadpanned, glad to have someone who would listen "I'm also a big fan of your whole ability to jump really high," she added as if trying to smooth over ground.

The interview was well underway, Samantha was nearly in tears as she explained that S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't believe them and Wanda had even managed to seem emotional over the whole fiasco. Essentially, the interview/tell-all was a success. Then, they came. Bobbi Morse, James Rhodes, Phil Coulson and Melinda May – each one of them armed to the teeth. It wasn't going to be easy, was it? "I'm sorry, this is a closed studio," Trish tried as Jessica shoved her into a closet, the protection of her friend her first priority.
Samantha looked at her former colleagues, her boss, her godfather and that dazed expression on their faces. They were hypnotised, minds controlled by Kilgrave and they were coming towards her and Wanda "We have to kill you," Coulson announced, his voice monotonous as he walked towards them.
"No, you don't. Coulson, you really don't," Samantha bargained "This-this isn't you, this is Kilgrave. He is controlling you,"
"It's no use, it won't compute," Jessica told her as she leant against the closet door.
New plan then. Samantha watched as red shot out from Wanda's hand and knocked a keen to attack Bobbi Morse to the wall, leaving the blonde agent unconscious. Knock them out – there was her plan. For some reason, the sound of LL Cool J rapping popped into her head and she smirked. Coulson was fast approaching her and Samantha bit her lip as she grabbed a hold of a nearby microphone "I'm sorry about this Coulson," she whispered as she hit him over the back of the head with it.
Between them, Jessica and Wanda seemed to have May under control, the only one left was Rhodey. She did not want to have to do this. He was in attack stance; she'd learned what that looked like during training. Edging her way around the table ever so carefully, she said "Rhodey, you don't want to do this, it's me – Samantha, your goddaughter," she reminded him desperately but he'd cornered her against a wall.
Suddenly, the ground beneath them shook and Samantha unsteadily dodged out of the way of Rhodey's collapsing figure. It was then that she saw her; short hair feathering out at the nape of her neck, doe eyes and tanned skin, standing in the hallway "Oh please tell me you're not here to kill us too," Samantha begged her old friend.
"Ha! They wish," Skye/Daisy responded and Samantha skipped over bodies, Wanda trailing uncertainly behind her. Not one of the women saw Bobbi begin to come to. The familiar piercing sensation of a bullet hit Samantha in the back, right in the rib cage and she had to resist the urge to keel over in pain as she ran up the stairs to the roof. She panted hard as the realisation hit her that there was no way out. She listened for footsteps, meanwhile, Skye walked to the edge of the rooftop "Fitz fixed the cloaking device," she called out before jumping off. Wanda followed suit and Samantha – understanding that she was out of other options – leapt from the roof and landed, rather ungracefully, with a thump, bashing her head on a cold, hard surface as what remaining air she had was knocked out of her.
