Alexis POV

"Alexis its you babeh gul." he shouted as I grabbed him and hugged him.

"Yes chad Omg boy I'm to glad tuh see you, How's life?"

Then a look shadowed his smile a look that was all too familiar.

"Same ole same ole. So how's life with you?"

"Its okay being same old Alexis,are you okay you look a little down?"

"Stop reading me Alexis, don't start doing that"

"Well sorry I still can sense something wrong with the man I use to call my best friend"

He looked at me ,then ran his hands down his face.

"Look my moms still on that same shit from two almost three years ago, I'm a grown ass man now I'm not about to deal with that shit so I left. What I didn't think about was that I didn't have a place to stay"

"I just moved back but you can Come stay with m-"

"NO I'm a grown man I can handle myself. Been telling you since we was little that you can't save everybody Lexi"

"Well excuse me chad for caring about you,just till you get on your feet please" I pouted

"Lexi what did I say guh"

"Pleaseee" she whined

I gave her a look and gave in.

"Okay man just a little while"

Chad POV

Alexis squealed as I followed her out of Chick-Fil-A.

"I'll follow you, hurry up short shit"
She flicked me off as she got in her car and drove off.

15 minutes later...

We arrived at her apartment complex and I followed her inside. This is nice, I followed her past the living room and kitchen down a long hallway. We passed two rooms down to a third room.

"Why do you have three rooms" I questioned

"Because w- I mean I have two kids their twins they're two years old"

I frowned a little at her slip up. Then decided to opt out of the conversation approaching.

"Well... this is where you will be staying. Oh yeah my kids are going to be coming home tomorrow"

"Okay I wanna meet my little niece? And nephew?"

"Um" she walked away not answering my question. That's weird I just wanted to know if they were a boy and girl.

Next Morning

I woke up to squealing and yelling.

"MOMMMMMMY" I heard

I stood up and walked out into the bathroom and heard a soft voice say.

"Who was that mommy"a little girl asked

"Stop asking so many questions baby my goodness"

I took a piss and walked out towards the front. I saw Alexis and two kids who looked like........me ?

Both kids looked at me and froze, then the little boy looked at his mother and stormed off to the second room in the hall.

"He's only two Alexis what's he so angry about. What you do to Lil man ?"

The little girl looked between me and lexis .

"Mwomma is dat thwa man you show m-" lexis shushed her
