Chad POV

I grabbed both of my kids, with there food and closed the door with my foot. I walked up to the door and kicked the door because my hands were full.

A few seconds later Alexis opened the door with puffy eyes. I walked past her not minding her at all. I walked down the hall to the twins room. As soon as I laid them down they both woke up.

I chuckled. I tried to shush them back to sleep but it was too late. Eventually King fell back asleep.

"Dada pwease stay" Queen whined.

"Daddy not going anywhere Melly but to the living room"

"Can I come Dada?"
"You have to go to sleep Queen"

"Pweasee" her lip quivered

"Okay come on " I playfully rolled my eyes and she giggled.

She jumped up and ran after me out of the room. She peaked in her mothers room before she continued to the living room.

"Hey mwommy"

"Hey sweets, had fun with daddy?" I heard Alexis ask

"Yes mwommy daddy is a lot of fun I like he a lot, I wish he wuda came awong time ago, goodnight ma"

I heard lexis chuckle and I heard little footsteps coming my way.

"Dadaa" queen sung as he ran toward the couch

"Yes my love" I sung back to her.

She hopped in my lap and laid on my chest.

"I tyred but I don't wan you to leab me" I clenched my jaw because this is Alexis and I fault.

"What did daddy promise you Queen?"

"You say you Neva leab me"

"You don't trust daddy?"

"Me don know my mwomma say don trust anybody "

"well daddy agrees but you have to trust daddy okay?"

"Okay dada, can you sung me to sleep?"

"Its sing babeh and sure why not"

I began to sang " Babeh what I go to do to please you babeh anything you say I'll do cause I only want to make you happy from the bottom of my heart is true..."

When I looked down Queen was fast asleep. I turned and laid on the couch putting her on the inner side. I had a room but I was too tired to get up. Then I heard light sobs.

Alexis POV

I lay in my bed trying to shush my cries. I didn't wanna worry my kids. I feel so selfish but he didn't have to talk to me that way. He doesn't understand why I couldn't contact him or tell him about the kids.

To be honest I was kind of being selfish at the same time because my kids are all I have. I knew when he came around he would just take them away and they would cling to him. They are the only human beings who have proved to actually care about me. I just don't want it taken away.

My door opened , shifting away my thoughts. I turned my head from the door , trying to wipe away my tears because my kids hate when i cry.

"What you crying for guh, I brought DA babies back I aine kidnap em"

I didn't respond but I could feel him burning a whole in my face.

"If you came in here to curse me out DONT You don't know the half so don't come in here and talk shit to me I got my reasons why I do what I do"

"Give me the reason for keeping my kids away from me OR I'll just ask queen since you keep shushing her up about it, which one ?"

"Its deeper than you think so I'm leaving it were it lay"

"I don't care how deep it is alexis , it could be hell deep, I want to know why. I thought you were supposed to be my bestfriend "

"I am, this is all to protect my family." I shouted snapping my head his way

I squinted my eyes.

"What the hell is going on lex"

"I can't tell you, I know you and its too much okay just leave it alone"

" no tell me" he stormed over to me.

I sighed and looked up at him.

"If I tell you, you have to promise to just leave it alone"

"No promises cause I don't know what's going on"

"Chad" she whined

"Alexis tell me"

"One day I and the kids went over to my moms and she wasn't there but her boyfriend was. He said she'd be back in a few to just wait, I already didn't like him but she wanted to see them really bad even though we didn't get along. I walked into the kitchen and he he followed behind me" I paused he gestured on

"So um when I turned around he was all up on me, I pushed him away and asked what he was doing. He tried to grabbed my breast so I hit his hand and he slapped me. When I looked up he had a knife to my stomach and said " if I made a sound he would kill me and my kids" he started to to" I paused again

"He what?" August mugged on edge

"He unbuckled my pants , I begged him not but he just threatened me. He he raped me " I broke down and august grabbed me and started rocking me.

"Then Queen and King ran into the kitchen I guess they heard a commotion" august let me go instantly shaking his head no.

" He made her touch him chad and he punched king when he tried to help and I couldn't do anything about it. King ran and found a phone and called 911, when the cops arrived they just called him up and told me to go home cause hoes do this often so i don't get special treatment. They threatened to take away my kids and have them killed If I told " I disgustedly spoke

Chad eyes were wide , his chest was heaving up down and tears were at the rim of his eyes. Then suddenly he took of running out the door and then I heard a door in the front slam.

I put my head in my hands then I heard the door open.

"Mwomma were Dada go"

"I don't know baby come here" she climbed in bed and sat in between my legs

"Him say him wunt leab me" she pouted

"He will come back baby promise okay"

"Otay" she sniffed as I kissed her head

He stormed out but that's not even the worst part. Lord Help I prayed.
