"Mel what am I gone do, I can't take this shit hea. Mama an allat Its old but this Mel somebody did this to my fucking kids man"

"Calm down Lil bro we gunna handle allat, just hea me out undastand. Keep yah head on yah shouldas can't let yah kids see you down man especially when they just now getting comfortable"

"This too much pain I cant , try to buy mama luuh she ion appreciate it, My supposed tah be bestfrien kept mah babehs from me fa two years, niee she telling me dis, I wudnt een dea to protect mah kids man"

"One love" mel trailed off as I hung up.

I sat back in my car seat, and pulled from the blunt I had in my hand, then dabbed it out. I was sitting outside of Lexis apartment, I had been for the last twenty minutes.

I got out and locked my car up and went upstairs. I went inside the apartment and looked over to the couch, which was empty. I slowly walked to Alexis open door and leaned into the frame.

She was holding Queen and rocking her.

"Knock Knock" I spoke out

Queen turned around slowly and jumped up and ran toward me.

"Dadaaaa" she screamed jumping on me. "Where you go? You say you wudnt leab" She questioned

"Daddy just went outside cause he was feeling a little sick"

"Well dada I coulda made woo fweel betta"

"Oh yeah? How"

"I coulda give woo some kiss and um- OH an love wike mama give King and Me" she cheesed

"Well gimmie some then cause daddy still feeling a little sick" I faked coughed

She giggled and started to kiss my face repeatedly, while she hugged around my neck.

"Fweel betta dada?"

"Much better" I smiled.

"Okay sorry mommy gotta interrupt yalls love fest but babeh its late you have to get some sleep"

"But mommy" queen whined

"No buts bed time"

"You can sleep with daddy princess, tell mama goodnight"

"Nighnigh mommy luuh woo"

"I Love you too baby" lexis replied with a smile.

I walked down to my room and laid in bed and got comfortable. Queen snuggled up to my chest under the cover. This felt good, being a daddy.

3 hours later

"No no pweaseeee mama heeelp mwee, I don wanna" she screamed shaking her head side to side

I woke up seeing queen screaming and crying in her sleep. I sat up and shook her awake. Her eyes bulged open and she looked at me and took a deep breath.

"Sorry Dada"

"No no baby I'm sorry" I clenched my jaw knowing the cause of this.

I squeezed her tight and rocked her from side to side. Rubbing her curly hair as I kissed her head repeatedly. I looked up because the door opened.

"Did I hear my baby screaming?" Alexis questioned

I just nodded my head. She came and sat in the bed next to us.

"I'm so-"

"How long,how many times whatever this couldn't have been a one time thing" I interrupted

"Ch-"

"How long Alexis don't play with me"

" he made her watch alot and me since 10th grade it started out as just touching but eventually it got worse. I tried to tell my mama but she just just said I wanted to be disrespectful, so senior year I left and that's when he made her you know" she choked up

I grabbed around her neck and brought her close to me and queen. Tears started to drop down her face.

"Its not going to happen anymore I promise I'm here now and as far as his life its in your game room"

"Get rid of him, I can't keep putting my kids through this" she quietly sobbed

I looked down into her eyes, looking into her eyes made me want to take back all the hurtful shit I said to her days ago.

"Okay Bestfrien your wish is my command" I joked to lighten the mood, while wiping away her tears.

"Oooh I'm your bestfrien again" she giggled

"Shut up" I groaned rolling my eyes playfully

"I missed you" she blurted out

"I missed you more Bubba"

"Ewwww keep that nickname in the past before I pull yours out that brown bag we put it in"

I frowned my face " Hell no leave that"

"Well put mine back"

"No" I licked my tongue at her

"Okay I guess I gotta bring boobie out"
"Uhuh" I groaned with a scowl on my face.

She started to giggle but was interrupted by queen "Mama and Dada and can woo guy sleep wit Mwe tanigh" she begged

"Yes baby lay down" lexis instructed

We all laid down. Queen was between me and lexis. This felt better than being alone or being somewhere I didn't belong.
