"Welcome to the Phantomhive manor" he said, smiling.
"Thank you" you smiled back.
"The ball will begin shortly m'lady" He bowed as you stepped down from the carriage.
You walked up the stairs to the large manor. Maxwell opened the door for you and your ears flooded with conversation. There were lots of nicely dressed people. A young boy about the age of 13 or 14 stood at the top of a set of carpeted stairs. He stood next to a girl with bright blonde hair and a cute pink dress.
"May I have everyone's attention!" The boy announced, "Today is Elizabeth Midford's birthday. This party was hosted for her. Please place all gifts to her on that table" he said, pointing his cane to a table which was already overflowing with ribboned boxes and such, "Let the party begin!"
Music started to play and people started dancing with their partners. You decided to head over to the food area as you didn't have very much to eat. You were getting a strawberry when you couldn't help but to see a large demon hound tied up outside the window. It was sleeping and was ten times the size of a regular wolf.
Your gaze at the beast quickly ended when you felt a tap on your shoulder. It was a tall man, like the Phantomhive butler, but his hair was differently styled and he had glasses similar to Maxwell.
"Hello, you seem to not have a partner for this dance" He smiled.
"Uhh" you suttered.
"May I have this dance, miss?" He said, extending his hand.
You placed your hand on his gloved hand and you two began to dance. The music played slow and at a waltzing pace. You put your hand on his shoulder while he but his hand on your waist.
"I'm Claude" He said
His eyes wandered your dress. You were about to say something when you were cut off.
"CLAAAAUDEE" A blonde boy with short shorts and a purple coat on yelled.
Claude looked over at the boy. He sighed and let go of you and walked over to the boy. Your gaze wandered around the room, admiring the architecture and such.
"Hello" a familiar voice said.
You turned to see the same butler that helped you out of the carriage.
"Seems as if your partner had left you" The butler sighed, looking from the butler to you, "May I have this dance?"
