Chapter 8 - Sarcasm is my middle name

 "Tell me EVERYTHING! " Eli screeched as she attacked me once I stepped foot into my room.

"Holy shit you scared the living daylights out of me! " I yelled back, pushing her off me. "What the bloody hell do you think your doing! It's like half past one and why the hell are you still awake? "

Eli rolled her eyes, but couldn't stop the smile forming on her face. "In case you haven't notice, my boyfriend lives here. So I have a twenty four hour access to your room, and bam. That's why I'm here, waiting for you to spill everything to me and- hey where are you going?"

I stopped abruptly on my way toe bathroom and glared at her. "It's freaking one in the morning! I need my sleep and do not ever piss me off when I'm tired. I.Will.Hurt.You. "

"Ugh your no fun. Fine I'll go back to Tommy now. " I swear I sense joy in her voice. God knows what their doing there...oh god I do not want to know. Chills crept up my spine and I shivered at the thought. Ew.

I let out a sigh of relief when I heard the door closing. Good riddance.

"So..."

"So..."

Awkward silence filled the air and both Chris and I looked uncomfortable under the gaze of the family. I wanted to be anywhere but here right this moment. The tension in the air is killing me and I couldn't meet the hopeful eyes of those sitting on the couch, waiting for us to talk about the date.

"Morning...Jensen and guys. " Chris said, shifting awkwardly from foot to foot.

"Morning Chris...everyone..." I replied, giving them a forced smile.

Silence filled the air again when the conversion ended and something inside of me just snapped. I hated silences.

"Oh what the hell do you want guys! " I cried desperately, looking at them.

"Waiting for you to tell us about you know what,duh. " Alex replied.

"You don't say, Catherine obvious. " Murmuring choices of words under my breath, I glared at the guys and was about to say something hurtful when I stopped. "What's up with the looks?"

"What did you just say?" Elliot say, scoffing and giving me the are-you-serious-look.

Confusion plastered on my face and I got only groans for my reply.

"Catherine Obvious? " Andy replied, raising his eyebrows at me.

"It's Captain Obvious, even I know that. " Jake said hi-fiving his brother.

What? "Wasn't it Catherine Obvious?"

Jason face palmed himself and just shook his head at me.

"I'm pretty sure it was Captain Obvious." Elliot said, amusement in his voice.

Another silence filled the air but was soon replaced by laughter when everyone started laughing at me. A blush formed on my cheeks and I glared at the mass producer of the noise. Aka, Jason, Elliot and Chris.

"Oh Honey, it's okay. Everyone makes mistakes. " Stacy said, offering me a smile. "Now lets get back to the original topic, what did you- "

"Oh look at the time, we must leave now or we shall be late! " I shouted, pulling all three of the boys with me. "Goodbye. " Slamming the door, I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"One word from this, just one word from this, I will pull your eyes out. " Anger filled my voice and I didn't know why I was angry. Blame it on the thing that comes every one month for girls.
