1. Last Week Wrap-up
I'm happy to report that we had a very successful first week! Most of you completed the assignments on time, plus the Friday Rush as well. I'm so proud to be in this book club with you :)
Before we start, a couple of announcements:

2. Week 2 Assignments:
(1) Featured books
You may have noticed some changes in the featured books chapter. Don't worry about it for now, those changes won't take place until week 7. For now, we are still using the original system where everyone reads the same two featured books. This week's featured books are
"Blue Skies Falling" by bluebee33
"Boy Chasing" by hothotchocolate
Everyone should read and comment on one chapter of each featured book. Featured author should also read the other featured book.
(2) Pairs
Pair A: rabb1tmouse ("I Dream of Dragons") and bluebee33 ("Blue Skies Falling")
Pair B: thatTJgirl ("Scarred") and emma_scott ("Scorched")
Pair C: insanebrr_ ("That Touch") and TerrikaBonner ("A Taste of Brown Sugar")
Pair D: hothotchocolate ("Boy Chasing") and Kandakx ("The Horizon Code")
Pair E: PriscillaWritez ("Sophia's Sins") and AngeliqueToledo ("Enamored")
Pair F: AlexStewartQ ("Boy in the Monkey Mask") and TheGoddessOfLove_Me ("InkWorld")
Everyone needs to read and comment on three chapters of their partner's book. If you are partnered with a featured author, you need to read four chapters of their book total (unless they only have three chapters).
3. Assignment due date
(1) Assignment must be complete by Sunday, Jan 31st, at 6pm (Eastern time). When you are finished, comment "done" on this chapter, and tag your partner please.
(2) If you want to participate in Wednesday rush, then the assignment must be done by Tuesday 9pm (Eastern time). I will post a "Wednesday rush waiting list" chapter early Tuesday, so you can sign up there.
4. Conflict Resolution
(1)If your parner fails to do their part, then they will get a strike and have to make up the work next week. If they fail to make up the work, they will be kicked out of the club. In that case, I will read the chapters they missed. Either way, you won't miss out if you put in the work.
(2) If your partner leaves a one-liner comment that clearly shows they didn't read your chapter, pm me so I can investigate. I will try to get them to fix it. Remember, one-liner comment will lead to a strike!
5. Elite Membership
If you are wondering what the "secret" was that I mentioned last week, I will reveal it this Wednesday. It's a new activity for elite members on the weekends, and I hope you will love it. You will earn elite membership by successfully completing: two week's regular assignments, one wednesday rush, and one friday rush.
