1. Last Week Wrap-up
We had another succesful week! With the influx of new members, this is now a full house with 20 members. A couple of annoucements before we start.
(1) Two strikes and removed from roster: Atnash95 since you didn't make up missed assignment, I had to remove your name :(
(2) One strike: hothotchocolate please make up your assignment this week.
(3) If you haven't voted on "Opinion Poll", please do so before end of Monday. That is when I will tally the result. Whichever idea wins will be the elite membership reward, and to be implemented starting next weekend.
2. Option to specify starting chapter
Some members have requested their reading partner start reading from a specific chapter. Please see "New Feature" for details about this option. Below are their preferences (this is in effect for both pairs and featured book). When you find your pair, please check here.
If your partner is listed below with a preference, then when you read their story, please start from that chapter. If your partner's name is not here, that means you should start from the beginning (or wherever you last left off).

3. Featured books
This week's featured books are

Everyone needs to read one chapter of each featured books, and leave a meaningful comment. Featured author should also read the other featured book. If you are also partnered with a featured author, you need to read four chapters of their book in total.

Everyone needs to read three chapters of their parner's book, and comment meaningfully on each chapter.
5. Due date
The assignment is due on Sunday Feb 7th at 6pm (Eastern time). If you want to participate in Wednesday rush, then the assignment must be complete by Tuesday 9pm. I will post a wednesday rush wait list on Tuesday for those interested to sign up.
Report-back rule: Please comment "done" and tag your partner when you finish the assignment. Additionally, if you want to set a starting chapter preference, please add "next partner start at chapter x" to your "done" statement.
6. Conflict Resolution
(1) If your partner leaves a one liner comment that shows they didn't read your chapter, please pm me and I will investigate. One liner comment will lead to a strike.
(2) If your partner fails to read your book, and fails to make up for it the following week, then they will be removed from the club roster, and I will read your book for the chapters they missed.
7. Closing Spiel
Once again, you have until Monday evening to vote on the Opinion Poll. I look forward to start the first elite membership activity (whichever wins out) next weekend.
