Here's where some George/Ringo comes in. Wrote these early chapters months ago, so forgive me if they're a little shaky, but I think they get the job done.

There's a few chapters that have songs not by the Beatles, and this is one of them.

It's called "I'll See You In My Dreams" by Joe Brown. He sang it at the memorial for George Harrison, a.k.a. "Concert for George"

Picture is of George. --->

 Pairings: John/Paul and George/Ringo

Disclaimer: I own now rights to any of the Beatles themselves or any of their songs. :)

CHAPITRE DEUX (2)

August 14, 1965 (approx. 3 am)

“Well, I should probably get ta bed now.” George yawned loudly and set down his playing cards. He stood up from the couch and stretched out his long limbs, which had fallen asleep ages ago and now felt all prickly.

Mal glanced at his wristwatch and let out a rush of air.

“Wow. Yeh, you better go on and catch a kip lad. Sorry, I had no idea it was this late. If Brian finds out we kept you up, he’ll murder us!”

George chuckled and obliged by making his way to the door of the suite.

“Right. Well, thanks for lettin’ me hang out a bit. See you in the mornin’”

“G’night.” Neil called after him, re-shuffling the deck of cards. George opened the heavy door and walked down the dimly lit hallway.

It had been a very… eventful night, to say the least. After that weird row between John and Paul, George just needed to get away from his two band mates for a while. Or at least away from Paul, he had no idea where John had gone off to. He figured Mal and Neil were his best choice if he wanted to at least have some fun for a bit before he went to bed. But even after a few games of blackjack, George still wasn’t really tired. Though, as always, he looked like he was.

He wondered if Ringo had found John yet. He decided he probably hadn’t. The little lad tried his best to help everyone get along, but let’s face it, he wasn’t exactly the smartest or biggest beetle in their little coleopteran foursome. George giggled softly at his own bizarre joke as came to a halt at the door of his suite and hesitated.

There was a good chance that Ringo was already back and sleeping soundly in his bed, having given up his quest to find their fickle friend. Well, not exactly sleeping soundly, the drummer did snore like a walrus after all. But you get the point.

George bent over and lightly pressed one of his ears to the door and he felt his heart beat speed up when he heard a voice on the other side. He straightened himself back up into a standing position and ran a hand through his hair. He fumbled with the little keycard with slightly shaky hands. He had no idea why he always got so eager and anxious when he was around his shorter friend, especially when they were alone, but he tried not to dwell on it too much.

He figured it was because Ringo was just the kind of bloke that was always fun to be around and no one could help but fall in love with the little guy, especially George. There was just something about Richard Starkey that was utterly loveable.

George finally managed to slide the card into the little slot, and the door opened with a click.

Once inside, he looked around and saw that both beds were empty and undisturbed. Confused, he scanned the room with slitted eyes. The whole room was empty! Then who did he hear…?
