Lots of plot advances, rambling, dialogue, etc. in this part.

But I hope you all enjoy my segway for the next restricted chapter, because that's coming up next -- soon! :)

Disclaimer!: I don't own any Beatles or Beatle songs. This is merely fiction written by a fan.

CHAPITRE ONZE (11)

Dinner at the Fiore’s…

John and Paul got off the lift and were greeted in the lobby by Brian who looked fed up already and they hadn’t even left yet. They waited patiently for the other two Beatles for about five minutes before they finally came down, George looking smug and fulfilled with Ringo looking nervous and worried. George shot a wink over to John as they walked out to the car, and the older man assumed the deed had been done: George had gotten Ringo to switch rooms. How? He didn’t even want to know.

The four Beatles plus their manager climbed into the car and made their way to the “Fiore Estate” Some rich business man who was apparently big in the music industry’s house so Brian was dragging them to make nice with the guy and his family and a bunch of other ‘important’ people none of them even cared about. And John was pretty sure none of the people at the party cared about them either, too busy counting their money and their young trophy wives. But apparently it would be good for their image or something.

The car pulled up to a very stately mansion that was probably worth more than everything they’d made so far. Seriously. It was fucking huge.

John was sure all of their jaws hit the floor as soon as they saw it, even Brian’s.

“Well, shit.” He heard Paul mutter from his place beside John.

The car pulled through the gothic gates and onto the gravel path that led to the driveway. There were already about 10 cars parked around the front entrance, so their driver decided to just drop them off at the door. The five of them climbed out of the vehicle and made their way to the dark mahogany entrance. Brian reached out and used the golden handle to knock before turning back and looking them over. “Now boys, I need you on your best behavior alright? Dr. Fiore,” John snorted at the “doctor” part. Brian gave him a look and continued, “Is a very important man and an old friend of mine. He owns many of the major record companies and has a big influence on them so just try and behave boys. Please.”

“Sure, sure Eppy. We’ll be the perfect little Beatles.” John sneered, not humoring his manager’s plea.

“John…” Brian flinched as the door finally swung opened.

A gruff looking man with a carpet on his face who was practically bursting out of his three piece suit appeared in the doorway. He was built like a tree, both tall and wide. “Brian, ya old bastard! It’s about time!” He bellowed out and gathered the manager into a painful looking bear hug.

“Hello Dr. Fiore..” Brian said with much difficulty as he tried to return the hug and breathe at the same time. After a few painful seconds, the man finally let go of a rather breathless Brian.

“Aw, now you know I like to be called Jimmy, we’re old pals for god’s sake!” He patted Brian on the back harshly, causing the smaller man to stumble. “So… are these the famous boys that we’ve all been waiting for?” He asked, regarding them curiously

Brian recovered from his earlier hug and straightened out his suit. “Um, yes.” He pointed to each one as he introduced them. “John, Paul, George, and Ringo.”

John grinned after the man shook his hand. “We don’t get hugs then?” He asked, snickering under his breath. He heard Paul laughing quietly as well.
