(Lilia's POV)

If only I knew how stressing planning this party would be, I would have given this job to someone else. I'm stressing over all the details since someone messed it up. Now, I had to fix the problem before the party.

It's been a week planning it and now I have until tomorrow to make everything work.

I let out a sigh as I checked the avenue at the lobby of a grand hotel. I was lucky that I booked it in such a short time. Supposedly it's hard to book a room here when so many famous people reserve it all the time.

But now the problem is that my people ordered the wrong designs and messed up the setup of the avenue.

I'm here with some workers trying to place everything to the original place like it says on the blueprint I made. We are all doing overtime since this had to be done before tomorrow.

I'm making phone calls here and there trying to purchase the right decorations for the party but right now, no luck. Fuck my life...

I can feel a headache coming on. I rubbed my temples as to relieve it.

"You don't look so well." I recognize that voice anywhere. I didn't have to turn around and see who it was. I heard this voice every single day. Mark...

"Well, I wouldn't be like this if everything was right from the start...Now, I have to fix this because my workers couldn't do their job properly." I could feel my anger rising but I knew I had to keep cool. I didn't want to look bad in front of my people. Keep calm now...I'm their boss.

"Aww, poor Lilia...Hey, I brought you food...It's your favorite~" I remember I haven't eaten anything all day and I know now that I'm starving. I turned around to see him holding up the bag of food while smiling.

"Food...Hey, wait just a minute...How did you know I was here?...And also, I'm starving." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Well, I'm your best friend...Of course I know you well." We laughed as we made our way to one of the tables in the avenue.

"Man, I missed my food." I stared down on my food as my mouth watered. It felt like an eternity that I have seen food.

"Does that mean you didn't miss me?...How mean of you..." I saw him cross his arms and pouted cutesy. I really wanted to reach out and pinch his cheeks. He is just being cute.

"Why would I miss you when I know you didn't miss me?" I blew a raspberry towards him.

"You are such a mean friend...I don't know why we became friends...I hate you." He poked his food with his chopsticks. I just shook my head.

"Right, I know you love me." I poke at him on the side as I bumped shoulders with him. I could see a smile coming unto his smile before he pouted.

"Whatever...Let's eat before it gets cold."

"Whatever you say, my friend." I just gave him a wink and I dug into my food.

We went back to eating in silence. Well, not really when we tend to make the other laugh with our funny faces.

=======

After our funny lunch, I got up to check on the progress of the avenue.

Mark stood beside me as I did my job. It didn't take long before I sighed the nth time today.

"Not good?" I turned to him and shook my head.

"I don't know where it went wrong. I have limited time to finish this...I hate this." I pouted and dropped my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around and stroke my hair gently.
