Chapter 24- Video Games

It was a Friday;Tori had been at the Recording studio all day and I had been at College. It was nearing 7pm and I was knackered, so I decided to relax and watch some TV cuddled up on the sofa with our duvet. I really wasn't the person for a party and I kinda missed Tori's hugs.
Suddenly I heard my phone buzz and I leant over to check my phone.
*Message from Toricorn<3: Heya y/n Im on my way home, brought some Taco Bell and Frozen Yogurt so you don't need to worry about food :) love you and cant wait to see you at home xxxxx*
A smile tugged at my lips as my eyes trailed over the words a couple of times before returning to face the TV.

Before I knew it I heard the door opening and Tori calling out "Heyaaaa I'm home"
I smirked and hid under the blankets, I so badly wanted to run to Tori-but I wanted to be a little cheeky.
"Y/n?" Tori questioned as her voice echoed from the kitchen area of our apartment, I heard soft footsteps thud on the ground-soon enough they were getting closer.
It was when I couldn't quite her her footsteps any more I started to panic a bit.
"BOO" Tori shouted as she pulled the blanket down to reveal my face, I jumped slightly only to allow Tori to burst into laughter. Once she stopped I found myself smiling as I cooed "my boo" I held my arms out for her and she swooped into my grasp. I caught her scent and straight away felt at home with her, her soft curls brushed the side of my face and mine brushed hers, Tori soon released however-only to my annoyance.
I saw her brown orbs light up as her small dimple was revealed with her beautiful smile, I couldn't help but smile back-that smile was contagious.
"Oh yeah, read my text? I got munchies and a surprise...." Tori trailed off smirking as her eyes looked daring. Can you not Tori....too perfect.
"Oh a surprise? After dinner or before" I asked as a tori started to walk back into the kitchen area "After" She replied and I was left wondering what could the surprise be.

After dinner I still was hopelessly waiting for an idea of what Tori wanted to tell me, we sat cuddled up under the blankets as we both ate some frozen yoghurt. I had y/f/f [Your Favourite flavour] and Tori had Banana, don't ask why-I hate banana yogurt but I know she loves it.
I saw as Tori's face changed and I met her excited gaze "Soo, this surprise-I shall go get it, I know you will love it" She trailed off, leaving her froyo on the side and getting up to enter the kitchen again.

Before I knew it she re-entered holding a piece of my childhood "Tori! A Nintendo 64! Literally my childhood!" I squealed as Tori broke into a large smile.
She nodded "Sameeee-and guess what game we got" I grinned like a fool as she pulled out a copy of Mario Kart.
"Oh my God Tor, this is fucking awesome" I hastily lifted myself from the sofa and helped Tori get the games console into the room. We had to also attached a old TV into the lounge as well so the games console would actually work. Once we completed the task Tori threw her hand up into the air as we both heard the games theme song play through the room.
"Throwbacks right there" I chuckled as Tori kissed my cheek softly, only to soon let my cheeks burn up.
"I know right, by the way-I dibs Yoshi" I smirked, grabbing a controller as Tori laughed "Well actually I was planning on being Toad"
She grabbed the other controller and soon we started on the first track.

Tori always mentioned how she used to be a boss at this game, however with her 8th place and me 3rd I guess she was bluffing.
"Shit" She shouted as I saw her character fall off the track and the little dude on the cloud placed her back on track.
I laughed as I soon crossed the finish line in 1st position and felt rather proud as when I was like 10 I used to suck so bad at Mario Kart. I was better at Zelda Ocarina of Time-Now that was an awesome game.
"I guess I lost my spark" Tori huffed as she ended up in 5th place.
"Awe poor Toricorn" I cooed as I wrapped my arms around Tori, I felt her smile like a fool as I held her tightly, she soon slid her arms around my waist and nuzzled into my neck as I gained a big smile.
"I will let you win the next one yeah?" I giggled as Tori pulled away, raising an eyebrow playfully "Oi y/n, Im not that bad-I need to regain my skills"
I scoffed playfully before answering "Yeah right babe"
I gazed at her brown eyes which showed signs of slight annoyance, but I could still witness the intertwined affection through her beautiful orbs.
"Next game?" I whispered, flicking my glance to her lips.
Soon her lips were on mine and she laid a soft lingering peck on my lips, leaving me speechless like always as a I felt the fuzziness and warmth she always gave me.
We both pulled away slowly as Tori smirked, her brown eyes showing a glint of competitiveness "Next game."

However I couldn't help but let my eyes trail back to her lips as I leaned in slowly, I placed my lips on hers, feeling so complete at how they fit so perfectly and I felt my head spin like always as we kissed passionately in an embrace.
I twirled my hands through her soft blonde curls as she moved her hands around my back, making small patterns as our lips moved in sync.
Before we knew it, it was a full make out session and when we moved away slowly to breathe a I noticed how truly breathless we both were.
Tori broke into a small smile as our foreheads remained touching,and I couldn't help but mirror her expression and letting out a small laugh.
"Now are you ready for a race?" I gasped breathlessly as Tori soon laughed.
"Yeah, I will beat you, how about if I win I get to choose what we do for the rest of the night." She smirked suggestively and I knew what she was going to choose. I couldn't help but smirk back as her brown orbs looked increasingly darker before they moved their gaze to the screen, smirk still evident on her face.
Yeah. I like that idea. Fine Tori-You win.
