Sorry I took so long. Life. You know.
Roxanne watched her father come back to the table, her mouth wide open in shock. 'Who was that Daddy. You don't usually swear.' Although she was curious, she had never expected her father to get angry with her before.
'Mind your business and eat your lunch, baby girl' he snapped, Darlene gave her daughter a look that they all suggested they eat in silence.
After lunch, Roxanne decided to go for another walk, she was getting a headache. A real one this time, not pretending to have one, like she had her mother believe earlier. Roxanne was still trying to piece things together, why was her dad angry, so much so that he snapped at her and who was he angry at.
It was very windy later that afternoon, compare to this morning, but the wind was quite cool, so before going outside again, she grabbed light sweater and went outside towards the cows fence, not quite near the smell that the milking cows left behind, but where she could breathe in fresh air, trying to clear her head.
Instead of that, the things that she had been thinking about, over took her body, where she collapsed to her knees and burst into tears. Roxanne heart was heavy. At times like this she always looked to. God for comfort, but this time she felt it would do no good.
'I have no idea why that dress smells of cologne, or why I'm afraid of horses.' Especially since she's obviously a farm girl. 'Why my family is keeping secrets from me, and what they were hiding or why' it was doing Roxanne head in.
Fro a few minutes she forgot all about the questions and just enjoyed the breeze. After a while she felt reasonably good, and so she headed back the a Ranch House.
When Roxanne walked back inside, she heard voices, she heard the name Stuart Steele again. Roxanne's listened to more of the conversation, hoping to get some answers.
'Honey, she's never going to regain her memory back, if we keep avoiding her questions' Darlene's said to her husband, she felt bad for keeping things from her daughter. Darlene and Roxanne, always talked to each other about everything. Their whole family were always close, and now two horrible incidences occurred, and somehow their family had been torn apart.
'Darling, I told you, Roxie is not going to see that man. There are other way to regain her memory. Touches, smells, bits of memory, when and only when she remembers everything that happened, we will fill in the gaps.' After hearing what was said, I blacked out.
