Yehya's POV
I sat on the couch upside down with my head towards the ground looking up at the ceiling with my legs flying in the air. I am sooo bored, I began to analyse the deep meaning behind the creation of the ceiling. I can see a mosquito righttt there. Oh look, a web.. and a spider. That's nice. I wonder how many people that spider has killed. Speaking of people, does it not have tiny babies. I wonder how spider schooling goes: 'Okay students, today we will learn how to inject our sharp teeth into human skin and inject a poison that will slowly kill them causing them to suffer until death...'
I received a text to finally break me out of my psycho thoughts.
'Hey monkey, what are you doing' -Idris I cracked a smile at the text. What a head.
'Who you calling monkey, you gorilla. Nothing much, i was just thinking about the spider on the ceiling and how many people have been a victim of it and how they teach they're babies to kill' -Yehya
'woah bro, have you eaten anything bad? coz you seem to be going a little psycho' -Idris
'Idk, but what i do know is that i am going mentally insane out of boredom. Come over?' -Yehya
'yea sure, open the door.' -Idris
I hopped out of the couch and ran to open the door. Boy was i happy to see Idris.
"Saaalaaaaaaam!" I sang cheerfully.
"Wa Alaikum Salaam. What happened to your face, and your nose?" Idris asked as we walked to my room and fell into our beanbags.
"well, your sister was being chased by a dog and was banging on our door like no tomorrow, and when I opened the door for her, I was met with a smack rather than a salaam. Let's say it flew me to the floor and caused a nose bleed." I explained as I remembered the events three days ago.
She was so beautiful, When we stood there just staring at each other before we broke into a fit of laughter. Her gentle laugh was so captivating, a melody to my heart. She was gorgeous as she rambled on, fidgeting with her fingers as she tried to explain herself to me. I couldn't help but stare at her... memorizing her perfect features. Astagfirullah Yehya, you should have been lowering your gaze. Besides why are you even thinking about her? She is just Amani.
"Hellooo, i am speaking to youuu." Idris began waving his hand infront of my eyes. "where did you doze off to?"
"Ohh, sorry i was just thinking about something. What were you saying?" yea, i wasn't gonna be telling him that i was thinking about his sister.
"I repeat. My little sister the twig, had the capability to almost knock you out. And I though you were a man. pfft" oh no, he did not just say that, I'll show him how much of a man I am.
I stood up, and smacked him on the face. "Hah whose the man here." I roared as he flew halfway across the room.
"AYY WHAT WAS THAT FOR. YOUR GONNA PAY!" He yelled as he flew starfish style and tackled me to the floor. I guess I just started a punch on. We sausage rolled around the room, punching and pinning each other down.
Idris was about to pull a mighty punch that was going to restructure my face without a doubt. As he moved his hard clenched fist towards my face, I moved my precious face...
"AAAAAAAAOOOOOOOWWWW" Idris shrieked as he held his fist in pain. I looked at his poor hand, he might've broke something. He was lucky the floor was carpeted instead of tiled.
"Who's the man, Idris, WHO'S THE MAN." I felt bad for the poor boy, but i had no choice, it was either my face or his hand. "I'll get you some ice."
"Thanks bro." and then... my face was met with Idris's other fist. Great.. now i was gonna have a black eye and an injured nose. The siblings are ganging up on my face.
"And now we are even.. we can both look like idiots." Idris goofed.
I guess i deserved it. That was fun.I walked out to the kitchen to grab some ice. I returned, throwing a packet of frozen peas to Idris and placing some frozen corn on my eye. We plopped into our beanbags and began to groan.
"This is so painful" Idris started complaining, "We should do this again some time."
"hah, just what I was thinking, but next time i won't go so easy on you." I exclaimed as I started to show off my biceps.
"hmph! don't think so much of them. Just take a look at mine." Idris said as he began to take his shirt off and show off his body muscles. We've both been working out at the gym, so I got to admit we weren't looking so bad, if I got to say so myself.
"I dont think so. Mine are twice the size as yours." I took my shirt off and Idris and I started tensing, arguing about our size.
Just then, the door was swiftly open, and standing there... were a pair of girls with wide eyes, staring at us with open mouths. A pair of tomatoes shall I say. This was not meant to happen.
"YEHYA", "IDRIS", Fari and Amani shouted in unison after a couple of seconds, Fari screaming my name and Amani screaming her brothers. They both covered each others eyes. Idris and I, each trying to protect our sister's innocence, threw shirts to each other and put them on.
"Okay you can uncover your eyes now," I said awkwardly scratching the back of my head. The girls opened their eyes slowly as they suddenly started to show interest towards the carpet floor.
The four of us stood there uncomfortably until Idris spoke up, "I didn't know you were here Amani."
"yea.. um i came over a few minutes after you left home." Amani squealed trying her best to get the words out of mouth. She sounded so cute when she was embarrassed.
"We came here to tell you dinner is ready." Fari said looking directly at me.
"Okay thanks, we will be there soon." I exclaimed looking at the ceiling. I have been doing alot of that today.
"okay tootaloos, byee! " The girls left and shut the door behind them. We heard their silent, compressed giggles as they walked off.
Idris and I looked at each other humiliated, not only were we shirtless, but we were both beaten up with bruises. How did it come to this?
"I blame you." I hear as Idris pointed at me.
