"Would you hold up?" Hyun-Soo sighed as the two of us rushed down the street to reach the outdoors stage - from where the news channel was airing the speech of the newly elected mayor.

"There's no time!" I replied as I had stopped behind the crowd. "Unless we warn him now, he's going to end up dead!"

"At least this means you didn't kill him?" Hyun-Soo huffed, accepting my stare with a nod. "Not that I ever doubted you, of course." He added.

It did. It did mean that I hadn't been the one to kill him. It also meant that Soldier Number One (most likely to be the cheesiest of men working under Mister Johnson) wasn't the murderer either. Had it been the work of a soldier then the mayor would've died in his sleep.

But there he was, holding his speech, unknowing of the tragedy that awaited him. It only meant one thing – a déjà vu with an unknown murderer on the loose.

"Excuse me, sorry." I mumbled as I pushed past his audience.

The two of us had reached the front row of the spectators, and Hyun-Soo pointed to a group of men next to the stage before he leant in to whisper by my ear.

"How do you plan to deal with them?"

Bodyguards. Many. Strong built men who in my imagined scenario wouldn't stand a chance against me. In reality? Storming the stage to tell the new mayor that he was going to die didn't seem like the cleverest of ideas, now that I thought about it.

"And with that," the mayor smiled brightly, "I thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for being a part of our town and our bright future to come."

As the man left his microphone to make his way to the side of the stage, the bodyguards all got on their toes from excitement over their new jobs - they hurriedly ordered people to step aside, to make a path for the higher-up.

The crowd split like biblical water - for the bodyguards to work as rails between the man and his spectators.

I had to move fast; I came closer and closer to him, as I pushed through the crowd - some of the citizens mumbled cuss words as I passed.

"Sir!" I called out over the heads of the few I had still to pass. "Sir, I need to talk to you!"

Another push, another mumble and I was right behind one of the suit-clad bodyguards. His wide shoulders blocked my view even while on my toes.

"Mayor, sir! Please, I need to-"

The only glimpse I caught was that of a smiling and waving mayor, one who had mistakenly taken me for a simple admirer - unknowing of how important our meeting would've been.

The crowd had soon spread, more and more of the citizens were headed to other places; some to the comfort of their home and others to find more celebrities to stalk. Speaking of stalking, I knew were Mister Mayor lived; not because I wanted to, but because I had been there in my latest of dreams.

"The Police, Felicity," Hyun-Soo was hurrying after me, "we should call the police."

He did that thing again, where he called me by my real name. That thing he does when he's serious, scared or surprised. I stopped, turned around and slid both of my hands into his.

"Look," I said, "what am I to tell them? Hm? What am I to say to them when they ask me how I know of this threat against the new mayor?"

He viewed me in silence. There was no answer to such questions. I knew there wasn't because I had spent an horrendous amount of time attempting to answer them myself.
