The Potter Games

Chapter 3

Ginny walks after Harry, shocked and mad that he just left her.

"Stupid!" Ginny whispers to herself.

Ginny isn't watching when she bumps into Harry. His arm is out, stoping Ginny.

"Harry, why are you-"

"Sh!" Harry cuts her off, pointing at where Ron, George and Hermione are. But... Draco is there too, holding Hermione's wand.

"He's dead! He's dead!" Draco yells then casts STUPEFY at Ron. Ron almost gets hit.

"R-"

Harry clamps his hand over Ginny's mouth. 'No! Not yet' he mouths.

They keep watching.

"And him!" Draco points at Ron, "He should be dead!"

Hermione growls. "Your point?! As you can tell, I HAD a wand!"

"Get out of here." George says.

Draco laughed, a crazy, murder laugh. "Never, Weasley."

Draco shouts STUPEFY at George but George dodges.

Harry let go of Ginny's mouth. "Go when its safe. Don't go after me. Got it?"

"Where are-"

"Got it?" Harry asks, looking into Ginny's eyes.

"G-got it." Ginny mumbles.

Harry pushs Ginny backwards and runs out.

"Hey, Draco! I killed Goyle! I killed him!"

Draco looks at Harry and runs after him. Harry turns and starts running.

Ginny sees Harry's plan. He's going to let Draco kill him so she can live.

Draco leaves, chasing after Harry.

Ginny runs out, seeing Draco turn a conner.

"Harry!" Ginny yells. No answer. Ginny stands there, no weapon in hand, watching and waiting to see Harry.

It takes hours to get Ginny to move. Ron's fine but Ginny doesn't care. They didn't hear a cannon so.. That's good? Ginny just sits there, not doing anything. She can't think. She can't talk. She just thinks about Harry.

"Ginny?" Ron asks, while Hermione and George are sleeping.

Ginny just looks at Ron with a far out look on her face.

"Ginny, its ok. Harry is-"

The music starts playing. Ginny looks up right away. Goyle... Just Goyle. Ginny sighs. Harry didn't die. Now, all she has to do is fine Harry.

"Harry. He's-"

"Not dead." Ginny finishes. Ginny smiles. Harry isn't dead. Harry isn't dead.

"Harry isn't dead! Harry-"

"Isn't dead." a voice finishes. Ginny turns to see a weak Harry. She stands up and tackles Harry in a hug.

Harry weakly smiles. "Hey."

Ginny starts crying into Harry's shoulder.

Ron laughs. "She missed you."

Ginny weakly smiles. "Yeah, I missed you."

'And cried over you, didn't eat over you...'

Ron pulls Ginny off Harry and helps Harry up.

"What happened?"

Harry sighs. "Draco chased me and then thought I fell into a fast moving river."

Ginny frowns.

Harry reaches for Ginny's hand, this time, Ginny doesn't pull back. "When I saw Draco left, I ran back."

"And the scars..?" Ron points to Harry's arms.

"Ran into Cho and...."

"And a what, Harry?"

Harry closes his eyes. "A-a basilisk."

Ginny gasps and Ron sighs. "I'd be amazed if anyone lived."

Harry nods.

"Welp, the fire is dying," Ron says, "I'll go get some wood."

Ron stands up and walks away. That leaves Ginny and Harry. Bad idea. Ginny's stomach flips and butterflies appear like crazy.

Harry pulls Ginny close. Ginny blushes.

"Ginny," Harry whispers, "I-I left to-"

"Shh." Ginny cuts him off.

Harry looks at Ginny and smiles.

Ginny smiles back. Out of the blue, Harry leans down and softly kisses Ginny. Ginny is shocked but kisses back. Harry lays down, pulling Ginny on top of him. After a minute, Ginny pulls away for some air.

Harry half smiles at her. "Liked it?"

Ginny giggles. "Loved it.."

Ginny falls off Harry and Harry wraps his arms around her. She falls asleep like that and the last thing Ginny hears is Harry chuckling.

"Ginny?" a voice says, surprised.

Ginny's eyes flutter open. It's still night. Harry must of fallen asleep; he was quiet.

"Ginny? What the heck happened? I left and you were sitting beside Harry, not sleeping with him." Ron whispers.

"Sorry." Ginny mumbles. SNAP. Harry's eyes open quickly, Ginny sits up.

"Who's there?" Ron asks.

Ginny rolls her eyes. Like they're going to answer, she thinks .

SNAP. Harry stands up, pulling Ginny up and close. Harry's eyes seems to say 'Remember the kiss?'

Ginny smiles and nods. Harry smiles, like he was asking the question.

SNAP.

Hermione comes out of the tent.

"Whats going on?"

SNAP.

"No idea.." Ron mumbles.

SNAP then a STUPEFY. Draco. They all roll away. George runs out of the tent to see Draco.

"STUPEFY!" Draco yells at George. Draco misses. Hermione pulls out--another wand?--and yells STUPEFY at Draco.

"You have two?!" Draco yells while dodging.

Hermione keeps yelling stupefy until she can't see Draco. Then...

Ginny feels a wand on her back and a cold hand over her mouth.

"Shoot and you kill both of us." Draco says. All eyes look that way. Harry, Ron and George growl.

"Let her go." Ron growls.

Draco laughs right in Ginny's ear. "Once you all die, I'll kill her," Draco presses the wand into Ginny's back, "Or, I could kill her now."
