Sebastian's POV

My master and I were quiet after Undertaker fed us that information. We were supposed to meet her, I feel like he could be lying.. But he also could be serious..

"Master?" I looked at my bocchan, waiting for orders.

"Well.." The young earl spoke, you could see a tint of red on his cheeks, "Take her with us.. That's an order."

"Yes, my lord." I bowed, but once I turned around, she was gone.

The sun was setting, it was almost gone. I think I know what she's going to do.

"Young master! We must find Lady Carol! Come, my lord, before it's too late!" I said as we both ran out of the shop.

Carol's POV

I ran out.

I ran without them looking.

A demon like me, running away... Pathetic.

But I refuse to stay with these two. I don't know them!

That's when I saw the sun setting, I guess it's time for dinner. I made my eyes change color, from brown to red, as I quickly left to find someone on the street. Anyone would do at this point.

The moon is up, which causes me to be more hungry. I didn't get to eat a lot since I sent some of the souls I collected to Undertaker.

Now, I'm following a woman, who seems to be by herself. I appear behind herself, but before I can kill her, I felt myself getting pulled back, pulled into the shadows. I look up to find a familiar pair of red eyes, and a familiar blue eye.

"Lady Carol.." The boy sighed.

I look away, this is the first time that I've got ACTUALLY caught. Why them?!?!

"M'lady? I have noticed that you have the eyes and hunger of a demon." I turned to the butler.

"Why? Why do you care about what I am? It's not like we're the same! Now leave me-"

"M'lady. I would like to negotiate with you." The boy said.

I gave him my attention.

"I would like you to be one of my pawns, a maid at my mansion." He said, smirking.

"Why should I?" I asked, not showing the fact that I was kinda excited, something that I rarely ever felt ever since I became a demon.

"It's simple," I turned my attention to the raven-haired butler, "you're a demon. So, do you want the job?"

My eyes went wide, I then shifted my gaze between the two of them. Just because I'm a demon.. That's why they want me... Whatever.. Why do I care..? Either way this could be interesting.

"I don't know who-"

"M'lady, I am Sebastian Michaelis, I represent the Phantomhive Estate as well as being my master's pawn. It's nice to make your acquaintance." The butler introduced himself as he took my hand and laid a light kiss on it. I will not lie, I did have a slight blush afterwards.

"I am Ciel Phantomhive, son of Vincent Phantomhive, I am now head of the Phantomhive Manor. Now... Do you accept this offer?" The boy introduces himself then pushes the question in my face. He's a persistent brat...

I stood up straight as I started walking away, I turned my head to look at them.

"Come. I would like to get my things before we go to the manor." I said before I started walking again. It wasn't long before the 2 caught up.

So this is my new life?

Arthur's POV

I searched everywhere for my younger cousin. Every single room in this mansion.

"Did you have any luck finding our young mistress?" I asked one of our maids, who, unfortunately, shakes her head.

Where in the world could she be? She left her study, and even our guests weren't there. If I find out that they did something.. I'm gonna-

I snapped my head to the foyer to find my brunette cousin, along with our guests, standing inside the door.

"M'lady!" I ran down the steps, "Where have you been? The whole manor went into a frenzy trying to find you!"

Carol shook her head as she looked at me.

"Arthur.. Thank you for taking care of me, helping me with our family's company." She said, with a small smile.

She's smiling? Why does it sound like she's saying goodbye? What is she talking about? Something isn't right here...

"M'lady? What are you-"

"Arthur.. I'm leaving you in charge of the company and the manor." She said with no hesitation.

"W-What? Why? Where are you going?" I asked, surprised that she would say this.

"I'm going to be staying with Lord Phantomhive. I will not be working here, now let me order you to do one more thing." She said, her smile fading away completely.

"Y-Yes?" I stuttered.

"Grab my things and bring them here so I can depart." Carol ordered.

"Yes, Lady Carol." I said as I went to prepare everything that she needed.

Ciel's POV

That man that looks like related to Lady Carol, ran up the stairs and disappeared.

"Was that man related to you by any chance?" I asked. I wouldn't be surprised if he was her brother.

"Yes. He's my cousin. Well, older cousin. He's probably happy that I gave him this position." Lady Carol explained, followed by a sigh.

"C-Cousin?" My eyes went wide in surprise, which doesn't happen often.

"Yes. Why? Is there something wrong?" She asked, confused with my reaction.

"I think.." Sebastian, who was quiet until now, spoke, "The young master master is trying to imply that he thought that your cousin was your brother.''

Lady Carol just started laughing. It wasn't a laugh, it was like giggling.

"Oh geez.." She said as she calmed down, "Lord Phantomhive, you never fail to amuse me. I think I'll enjoy working with you and Sebastian."

She smiled, but I know it didn't go up to her eyes. Her eyes show nothing, it makes me curious to learn more about this woman.

I will find out about you, Carol Blackwood.
