Permanent Vacation

    The man tells me to come with him. We round a corner and I see a limo that seems a bit big for one person. I don't thing much of it until he opens the door and there are 7 other girls in there. They all seem to be gossiping about who knows what.

     Feeling anxious I sit away from the clump, next to a girl with pink and blue cotton candy hair. She is super pretty. I hear her singing under her breath so I try and look at her phone to see what song she is listening to.

"It's Tear in my Heart by Twenty One Pilots." She says quietly.
"Oh... Um... Sorry, I was just curious." I mumble.
"Your fine, I'm Arabella." She looks up hesitantly.
"I'm Max. Do you know why there are so many other girls?"
"My understanding is that we entered a contest to compete in another contest. It was one of the boy's idea."
"I bet is was Michael." I say shyly.
"Probably." She says.

     The limo pulls to a stop in front of a huge house I guessed to be the 5SOS residence. Arabella and I were the first to be pushed out of the limo by the other insane fangirls. As I'm looking around I see a flash of blue behind a tree. Michael. Looking closer at my surroundings I see the other 3 boys hiding. I brace myself for what's to come. As soon as Michael yells charge the whole band runs out at the group of girls.

   Luke runs up behind me and grabs my shoulder. We make eye contact for a split second before I grab his hand and flip him over me. He is lying on the ground laughing like an idiot when Ashton begins to run at Arabella.

"Duck!" I yell just before she gets tackled.

   She is small so Ashton dives head first into a muddy spot making Luke laugh even harder. I go to help him up when a blood curdling scream pierces the air.

"You got mud on my new Jimmy Choos!" A girl yells at Calum.
"I'm so sorry. I did-" Calum is cut of by a hard slap to his left cheek.
"These are Henni 100s. They are 895 dollars you jack ass!" She slaps him again.

    I run over and pull her away from him while the boys get Calum.
"What's your name miss?" Ashton asks sweetly.
"I'm Kelly." She says rather sassily.
"Well Kelly, you slapped my friend. We don't tolerate that kind of bull shit." Michael steps up.
"Well. I won. So you'll have to." She replies.
"No we won't. Because you are eliminated." Michael says.
"What?" She begins to freak out.
"You're gone. Leave. Get your bags and and go." Luke says clasping his hands and smiling.
"If she's going, I am too!" One of the other girls steps up.
"Okay. Bye!" I yell.

The two girls strut off to the limo.
"You aren't taking the limo. The other girls' things are in there. There will be a car getting you." Calum explains.

    After all the drama is over and the two girls are gone Luke comes around handing out multicolored book bags. Arabella and I have turquoise.

"Whoever has the same bag color is your roommate." Luke explains, "There are 20 keys on this table. One of them unlocks the biggest and best room. Take your time and choose carefully. You can only grab one key. "

The two other teams immediately run for the table. The first grabs key #5. The second team huffs and grabs #4.

"I don't think they would do those two.  It's so obvious. Then they would only have 10 keys. It doesn't make sense." Arabella contemplates under her breath.
"How many letters are in Sounds Good Feels Good?" I ask her.
After counting on her fingers for a few moments she replies. "19."

I walk over to the table and grab 19. As we are walking to the room Arabella speaks up.

"Thanks for warning me. I really appreciate it. I didn't come off as a bįtch, did I?"
"No. I was afraid I did. I'm not good with new people..." I reply coyly.

    She itches her wrist where she has a ton of bracelets and I see several scars. I don't ask her because I don't want to upset her. She is already shy.

"Neither am I. It's aight." She looks at me from under her bangs.
We get to room 19.
"This is the moment of truth." I mutter under my breath. As I go to put the key into the door it slams open, hitting me and narrowly missing Arabella.

"Mikey! We talked about this!" Luke yells. He walks over to me and helps me off the floor. "Are you hurt?"
"Naw. I think I'm good." I lie.
"Max, your forehead is cut..."
I reach up and feel my head. There is blood on my hand. "So it is..."
"Max I am so sorry. I didn't know you were that close to the door." Michael says hugging me.
"It's fine Mikey. Now get off me. You are such a kitten." I struggle to escape his grasp.

After a bunch of hug attacks from Mikey, the boys explain that there will be 2 people chosen to join the band on tours and help with planning and such. They don't need to be on the same team either. There will be several challenges to win and one person will be eliminated each time. The whole time they are explaining I can't help but notice Luke staring at me.

Hey hopefully you like this chapter. I am having a ton of fun writing this but it takes me a long time. Hopefully I can get the next chapter up quicker than this one.
