*Max's POV*
2 days later...

"Luke, where are you taking me?" I ask when he blindfolds me and helps me in the car.
"On a date." He says.
"Luke..." I say sighing.
"Yes babe?"
"I get motion sickness."
"Oh crap." He rips off the blindfold.
"Luke. Just tell me where we are going."
"Nope. You'll have to wait."

After driving for about an hour Luke stops the car.

"Are we here?" I ask yawning a little bit.
"Yep! We can get out now." He says.
He goes to the trunk and pulls out a basket and a large bag.
"Here. Go ahead and change into this." Luke tosses me my swim suit.
"What! Where are we going?" I ask.
"A secluded beach." He says from the opposite side of the car.
"Really!"
"Would I lie to you?"

After about a 1/2 mile walk we come down to a small beach. The ocean was right there. Luke lays a blanket down on the sand.

"I figured I should take you on a proper date." He says unloading the picnic basket.
"Luke... You didn't have to." I say quietly.
"But I wanted to."

Luke has me sit down and he has packed a huge dinner. I grab a strawberry and nibble on it.

"Aren't you hungry?" He asks making his sandwich.
"I had a big lunch with Bella." I lie.
"Oh. That's okay. I should have told her what we were doing."
"Yeah..."

Stop eating those berries!
You are too fat!
You are so ugly!

"Stop..."
"What did I do?" Luke asks.
"Oh. Nothing. Don't Stop is stuck in my head." I panic and blurt it out.
"Hey. I sing that song!"
"I know Lukas."
"That's not my name, Maxi."
"And that's not mine!"
"You are too cute."

After Luke ate and I had a few pieces of fruit he was ready to swim. I sit there in a towel not wanting to swim yet.

"Come on! Please!" He pleads.
"No, Luke not yet." I giggle back.
"Aww. I guess I'll go on my own." He added sadly.

Just when I think he's gone I feel two strong arms lifting me out of my towel.

"LUKE! Put me down!" I scream hitting his back as he throws me over his shoulder.
"Nope!" He replies with a hearty laugh.

He starts running down to the water with me in his arms. He gets where he is about waist deep then smirks.

"Luke, don't you dare!" As soon as I finish talking, he drops me. I come up and glare at him.
"You're cute when you're angry." He remarks.
"Well, you sir, are a jerk."

He leans down and kisses me. We stay like that for a long time. After we break apart Luke suggests that we swim for a while.

"Luke. I'm kinda cold. Can we go back up to the blanket?" I ask shivering some.
"Sure. We can sit up there and watch the sunset." He replies placing a quick kiss on my forehead.

We walk hand in hand up the beach to where we left our things. I check my phone and see a missed call from Arabella. I call her back.

"Put it on speaker." Luke says.
"Okay." I tap the speaker button and it rings twice before she picks up.
"Hey! How's the date going." She says.
"Pretty great actually." I reply.
"I put something in your purse for you."
"Really? Where at?"
"It's in the little pocket."
"Luke can you see what it is?" I ask him.
"Sure, no problem." He replies getting into my purse.
"What the hell Bella!" I say as Luke pulls out a condom.
"Be safe kids!" She giggles and hangs up.

Luke and I just laugh. He wraps me up in a towel and pulls me close. He pecks me on the lips quickly before watching the sunset.

"Max? Let's take a walk along the water before we go home." Luke suggests.
"That sounds nice." I hum standing up and grabbing Luke's hand before we begin our walk.
"I've been thinking and I never properly asked you to be my girlfriend. So, Max Shyanna Asbury, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"
"Luke Robert Hemmings, I will be your girlfriend."

He leans down and kisses me on my forehead. We walk back to the blanket and gather up our things. Once everything is back in the car we start to go home. Before long I feel my eyes start to close and I drift off with Luke's hand intertwined with mine.

I wake up to the feeling of someone carrying me. I open my eyes and see Luke looking down at me.

"Why didn't you wake me?" I yawn.
"You looked so cute sleeping. I didn't have the heart." He says with a little laugh.
"Can you put me down?"
"Nope."
"We just passed my room."
"I know."
"Where are we going?"
"My room."
"Arabella will worry."
"She already knows."
"Okay."

We get to his room and he unlocks the door without putting me down. He carries me to his bedroom and sets me down on his bed.

"Luke?" I say.
"Yes?" He replies.
"I don't have any pajamas."
"You can wear one of my shirts."
"Okay."
"Max, is it alright if we sleep in the same bed?"
"I don't know. Can we cuddle?"
"Isn't that obvious!"

He throws me one of his shirts and points me to the restroom. I use the toilet and put on his shirt. It goes to the middle of my thighs. I come back into Luke's room to find him naked rummaging through one of his drawers.

"Luke!" I scream covering my eyes.
"Oh god Max I'm so sorry! I thought you'd take longer!"  he apologizes.
"Just put on underwear!"
"It's safe."

I peak out between my fingers to see a red faced Luke staring at me. He is biting  at his lip ring as he looks me over. All of a sudden the look on his face changes from embarrassment to worry.

"Luke? What's wrong?" I ask.
"What are those?" He says.
"What are what?"
"These." He comes over to me and points to the scars on my thighs.
"Oh..."
"Do you cut?"
"No... Well, I used to... I've been clean for 6 months."
"Why..."
He must have heard my breath hitch because he immediately comes back with.
"If you aren't ready you don't have to say."
"Can we... Just go to bed. I'm really tired."
"Of course."

I crawl into the bed and Luke has his arms wrapped around me right away. His warm embrace causes me to fall into a much needed sleep.

Hey. Sorry for the crappy chapter. I'm on vacation and have been trying to get out a chapter. I wrote this one in the car so if it's different that's why. But love you guys!
