Roses are red, violets are blue
I'm really good at hiding from you!He stared at me from the back of the room and nudged the girl next to him. She looked at me too, and I nearly died of fright. Why are they here? What are they going to do to me? Sweet pickles help me!
"You must be Sunita. Welcome to Room 12! I'm Mr.Howard. Do you have the pass your guide was supposed to give you?" My teacher had a big smile on his face the whole time he talked.
I tore my eyes away from the two in the back and handed Mr.Howard the pass. He told me to sit down next to this sweet looking guy. At least, I thought he looked sweet until he opened his mouth.
The first thing he did was compliment me in an unflattering way, if you get what I mean.
The class went by pretty fast. At the end, Mr.Howard gave me some catch up work, a textbook, and a friendly reminder that he was there if I ever needed him.
I thanked him and left the classroom. I fumbled with my schedule when someone's hand covered my mouth. They half-carried, half-dragged me into a small alcove. He told the girl to keep watch, and pushed me against the wall.
"So we meet again, little girl," He didn't cage me in with his arms, yet I couldn't find the courage to move.
His green eyes tried to pull answers out from me and I cowered in fear.
Not again, I thought. Please, not again!
"Wh-what d-do you want, Kevin?" He stepped a bit closer, his glare was menacing.
"I've been looking for you. Boss said you were coming here, but," He smiled an evil smile. "I didn't know you'd deliver yourself to me."
"I'm not quite sure I understand," Of course I understood. I just like stalling for time. Especially when my life is on the line.
"That's bull and we both know it," He leaned in. "Now, here's what you need to do-oof!"
He was yanked off of me by- "John!" John was behind both the girl and Kevin and had an arm around each of their necks. He looked at me, his eyes were blazing, "GO, GO, GO TO THE PARKING LOT!"
I didn't need to be told twice. I ran as fast as I could, my head pounding as memories came flooding in. My eyes blurred so much that it was all I could do to run in the right direction without falling.
I got outside and saw the over enthusiastic girl with the cute sweater in a car motioning for me to get in. I yanked the back door open and collapsed in a pile.
He was back and out to get me. And there was nothing I could do but run.
But I'm so tired of running.
