Roses are red, violets are blue,
I think this time it's real, don't you?

Krishna's POV
A scream. That's what had me running back to the rink to see the DJ holding a gun and Sunita trying to crawl away and undo her skates at the same time. I cursed when I saw the symbol on his wrist. How could I have been so stupid?!

I threw a chair at him and pulled out my own gun. Running up to Sunita, I yanked off out skates and threw my bulletproof jacket over her shoulders-all while keeping the enemy at bay.

One of my bullets got him in the leg and he fell, clutching his calf. His gun skidded about ten feet away from him. I knew we only had a few minutes before he had the sense to call for back up and/or start scooting to the gun. Hopefully he was dimwitted...or in immense pain. Preferably both.

I turned to the stunned girl behind me, "Run to the vent behind the snack bar. Crawl through it. It's gonna lead outside. Now go!" I pushed her and turned my attention back to the DJ. Too late I realized my mistake.

He had time to call for back up.

Sunita's POV
I ran to the vent, tears welling in my eyes, threatening to spill. I ran behind the dusty counter and tore the grate away, my heart pounding. Suddenly, I stopped. It hadn't hit me that the vent would be a tight space. Too many memories came rushing back.

I was dimly aware of the fact that Krishna was fighting with, what it sounded like, more than one person. Only later did it hit me that he gave me his bullet proof vest. Only later did it hit me that the absolute idiot was trying to protect me. And I did nothing. I couldn't even get through the vent. I couldn't follow the one, clear instruction he gave me.

I rubbed furiously at my streaming eyes. I heard footsteps behind and turned around, expecting to Krishna.

"Hello, darling. It's been quite a while. Too long don't you think?" The last thing I remembered before I fell into nothingness, was his horrible smile.

Krishna's POV
I kicked myself for the second time in five minutes. Two more evil cronies, each about seven years older than me, appeared outta nowhere. I cursed and backed up, trying to think of something.

DJ wasn't gonna attack me anytime soon, but these two were bigger than me. They slowly approached me, confident of their success. But I wasn't gonna go down without a fight. I took out my gun, only to find out that I used up all the bullets. Cursing, I tucked it into my belt.

One of them lumbered towards me and took a lazy punch. I dodged and swept his legs out from under him. As he crashed, the other man stopped short.

"What did you stop for?! Capture him!" The DJ screamed. The man shook his head and stepped towards me. I stepped back, racking my brains for some idea. My back hit something, and my hands knocked into something heavy. I picked up the item and smashed it over the man's head. He crumbled as soon as the record player cracked over his head.

I turned my attention to the DJ. Picking up the gun that skidded away from him, I held it next to his head. I looked him dead in the eye, "Now talk."

Cole Black's POV

I pointed the gun at the boy's already bleeding head and laughed as his father shook his own, pleading. I held the gun in place and pulled the trigger. The boy stopped shaking.

His father threw his head back and cried his son's name over and over again. Jacob, I think it was. I kneeled next to the chair where he was bound, "Oh Darren. Let this be your warning. You'll never cross me again. If you don't want your daughter to have the same faith, you'll cooperate with me."

He looked at me with absolute loathing, but I didn't care. As long as he knew who was boss. We were interrupted by someone knocking on the door.

"Yes, Kevin, what is it?"

"We brought her, sir."

"Ah, excellent. Bring her in."

The girl's dark eyes widened in fear when she saw me. She struggled even harder against Kevin's hold.

"Now, now, don't make this harder than it needs to be. Um, Jessica. Take this body away please. As well as Mr. Archer," I smiled as Sunita's eyes widened even more. She never had the courage for this type of stuff.

I sat on the edge of the wobbly table in the corner, "Now, my dear, I'll get straight to the point. I kill everyone you care about and take you by force, or you willingly give your consent to marry my son in two years time and save lives. The choice is yours."

Aloha my lovelies.
So sorry I didn't update in forever.
In fact it was so long, I had to reference back myself to
figure out some things. So much happening in this chapter.
Wish I could've done a better job with the fight,
but I really needed to update.

As always,
