"Volia! C'est magnifique!" Daniel exclaims as he finishes my makeup and hair.
I laugh and turn to the mirror to see the result.

"Wow. Thank you, Daniel!" I say looking at my reflection. I wasn't caked or anything but he just made all my features seem to pop effortlessly.

"What can I say? It's a gift." He sighs and pats himself on the back. "I'm going to go and get finished changing. Don't mess anything up!" He eyes me before exiting the bathroom.

My hair was was in a half up-half down do with pieces of hair framing my face. It had big, pretty loose curls as it cascaded down my back. The hairs that framed my face were also curled.

Daniel strutted back in, all dressed up. He flipped his imaginary long hair, "How do I look? Don't tell me. Beautiful right?" He smirked and blew a kiss to himself in the mirror.

I giggled as he eyed himself up and down in the mirror. "If you don't pick up any guys, I don't know who will!"

"I know right." He looked down at his phone to check the time. 6:35 and the dance started at 6:30. "Fashionably late, perfect!" He grabs my wrist and we head out side to drive to Fairway.

Daniel and I walk hand-in-hand into the gym full of students all dressed up. "The Queen has arrived!" He announced and a group of girls rushed up to him as Daniel always was a fan favourite.
I frown as I get pushed out of the mob but laugh as I see Daniel totally enjoying his praise.

I walk over to the punch stand and pour myself a cup.
I scan the room and spot Mr. Cumberbatch quite close. I take a deep breath and stride over.

"Hey." I smile kind if nervously, holding my cup in my hand.

He turns his head to face me. "Hel-" he cuts off as I watch his eyes travel up and down my body, examining it almost. "Ahem, you look lovely tonight." He grins sheepishly.

"As do you." He did look good. He always dressed nice for school but tonight he was in a suit with a black dress shirt that was had a few buttons unbuttoned.
He smiled at my compliment.

"So, how's the dance going?" I ask looking out into the sea of bodies.

"It just got better." He says mysteriously.

"Hmm, how?" I ask still looking at all the students dance.

"You got here." My eyes shoot up to look at him, but he was now looking at the crowd. Did he just say what I think he said? Am I dreaming? I pinch my self a little to make sure.

"Ouch.." I say quietly, reacting to my my pinch.

"What was that?" He asks looking back to at me.

"Oh, nothing." I take the first sip of my beverage awkwardly.
And 'Ugh' escapes my lips as I can instantly tell the punch has been spiked. I never liked drinking acholol. I just didn't enjoy the taste or the outcome of the buzz.

"Is everything alright?" He furrows his brow, and looks down at me.
I set my punch down and wipe my mouth.

"I think the punch got spiked. I'll be back." I head out to the hallway and stop at the water fountain to get the taste of alcohol out of my mouth.
